"Sheff Wed get double the amount of fans as us, and we can not compete or afford such a deal"?

Just guessing like!

We have a marketing department, what are they doing?

Oops, sorry. Silly question!🙄

Doing their jobs? Taking "the product" (ugh hate that term when it means football) to the market (i.e. us fans). It's not the job of marketing to find investment for the club.

@ the OP - good question. I don't know the answer, though I would guess because the Sheff Weds board shareholders are more keen/desperate to secure outside investment than the PNE board is. Be interesting to see how this turns out for Wednesday given the current financial climate. Worth remembering that the takeover of Liverpool hasn't exactly worked out well and these Inner Circle people aren't going to work for free.

PNE have the great Ben Rhoades. ( Or , as the 'General Manager' is he more likely 'just' a Stadium Manager

Exactly what his Track Record isn these things, I dunno.
But I can't say I 've been staggered by the number of ideas he's come up with....

Did any of you buy shares when PNE was listed on the stock market???

This consituted investment in PNE.... everyone had the chance to "invest", if you didnt then how can you call the club for failing to seek "outside" investment when you couldnt invest yourself?

PS buying a season ticket, shirt, does not constitute investment.

Bollocks...if no one purchased a match day ticket, season ticket or merchandise the club would fold in weeks. Incidently i have had a season ticket 35 years, paid for 2 kids season tickets for 15 years bought upwards of 20 shirts, and a shareholder all on a modest salary...pound for pound I've probably invested more money than a certain TH.

they haven't - they have appointed them to help complete a deal with an investor who they have already found. Lets see how it outurns - SWFC are a better investment than North End but still looks like a dog.
