Ipswich seem to struggle lately when teams match them up. They're probably a team that will always create chances, but they're not clinical, and pretty average at the back.

I think playing wingbacks against them would be a mistake because of the movement of Broadhead & Chaplin, and the fact that they'll just control the midfield without us having an extra body in there.

We need to just go toe-to-toe with this lot while they're in a slump. Lindsay Vs Moore could be a good watch.

I'd play Whatmough over Storey if he's fit. Tough to leave Mads out.

Whiteman, Browne

They appear to play a high line, so 4 1 3 2 for me. The pace of Riis, the guile of Keane and the trickery of Millar should be more than enough to keep them pinned back. Let them dominate and there's only going to be one outcome. Any two from McCann, Mads or Browne, I can't call it.
 
I wish we were in their type of slump.

1 defeat in their last 11 in the league and that came away at Leeds. They've played Leicester twice, Sunderland, Boro away and Coventry in that time. Not a bad slump 😂

Saying that, it's absolutely hilarious that both the above comments have shown more tactical nous than our actual manager has. We will play with wing backs and Chaplin, Broadhead, Burns, Sarmiento, Hutchinson and Harness will have a field day. Ridiculous amount of talent.

A slump compared to their unreal start. No way they draw against QPR & Stoke a couple of months ago.

Of course, but every team going for promotion will have a stint like that. Not everyone can be like Leicester. I'd take their slump any day of the week. Imagine going to Leicester and getting a point?!

Either way, I'm sure we'll do our very best to help them get back to winning ways tomorrow.

if that's the case then Mads has to play to provide the through balls for our attackers to run onto ( like for the goal at Millwall for example ) .

I agree, but then I've got to decide between Browne and McCann. In terms of balance McCann is a better fit but Browne is a better player. It's a dilema that will be resolved by picking Ledson I fear.

Please be very wrong !! Ipswich would have a field day one touching it around Ledson . I'd probably do with Whiteman as DM and Browne ahead of him , McCann benched for him woeful passing .

I think I'm with you on this. My fear is that RL will pick Ledson. I firmly believe on getting your best players on the park.

Haven't they just got Kieffer Moore in on loan aswell? Ridiculous attacking options.

Not sure they'll hold off Southampton for top 2 but they'll still have a very good chance in the play offs.
