As title suggests.

When RL first took over, there was a huge boom, the club seemed to reconnect with the fan base and many more ST were sold.

RL seems to have taken a bit of stick (warranted or not) but it seems to me that he is evolving as a manager. This system and brand that he is seemingly wed to seems to have evolved - it seems to me that he is finding different ways to win games.

Give the guy the tools.

COYW!!!

He has the potential, only 3 games in but some brilliant performances so far and hopefully we can get TC and that wing back

We need to wait until we've played a team that Lowe may think we won't beat to see if he's evolved. If when we play one of the relegated teams we have some attacking purpose then yes he's evolved. Until then I will reserve my judgement. We have had a great start to the season and long may it continue.

Results wise, we are significantly outperforming the quality of the squad.

Entertainment value has been the trademark nil bar the second half against Bristol City. Without squad depth difficult to expect any more, and the switch to 5-2-2-1 has been a welcome move.

Still comfortably the 3rd best manager we've had since our return.

Not for me.

Still the same resilient style.

However since the start of last season team has been leading about 15 times in games and think Huddersfield on Boxing day was only time a 1-0 coming up to last 30 minutes was turned into a defeat.

He's showing at this level he can manage games effectively team are winning so that isn't a problem at all. Problem is more the snail pace starts home and away with being 2 or 3 down like Norwich at home or Swansea away.

Give him the obvious Cannon signing and two more across the park and see if a more expansive style can be developed. Like for most of last season he's managing relatively meagre resources pretty well currently.

Credit where it's due. I was dreading a poor start to the season, especially when the transfer in-comings began to stall. But we've started with some solid results and IF IF IF RL is backed with at least another striker, an enjoyable season could lie ahead.

Early signs are positive but let's not carried away.

I think it's too early to say he's evolving, certainly he's learning as any decent manager should.

The Brand was always a fiction - it hasn't evolved, it's simply been debunked.

We're at that stage in our Championship "evolution" (8 years in, the promoted players all but gone, the squad now reliant on loans) that we have to grind the games out pragmatically - and so far this season, we've come away with good results doing that.

The worry is that the owners decide we don't really need strengthening after all - that maybe we can get to January and see how things look then.

I think so. Seems to be pragmatic now and last week post match comments reflected that. I think he's getting something close to the best out of some of our players, which is all you can ask.

Holmes could be fitter, I think fitness in general could be improved, and he got mads doing doggies all second half but did sod all else. Its tricky, think there's even more in there we could take the sting out of opposition and retain possession better and work on a few moves to get out of situations but it's a fantastic start no doubt about it.
