I know we've all had them when it comes to North End over the years. False dawns, flatter to deceive....
BUT, I've just got a sneaky feeling we're gonna go close this season. Our first choice eleven are pretty darn good and can compete with the best of them I'm this division. Strength in depth is a worry but stay clear of injuries and who knows.
Worse case scenario is we keep the rest of the season interesting.
Ryan Lowe is a marmite character but I can look past the personality. So far so good. Enjoy the ride folks.

You know what, I completely agree.

Something about the mix of personalities we have now. Reminds me of the good days when we had likeable players all putting in a shift like Eddie Lewis. Millar, Mads, Riis... they've all got a bit of personality about how they play. It makes me think we might just end up being more than the sum of our parts.

Or we'll bottle it, but tbh I'm just happy to have some players who are genuinely likeable.

Anyone else read the thread title and go

It’s brilliant going into every game with confidence and enjoying the performances. I hope your sneaky feeling is right but I’m just happy we are playing so well at the moment (well happy for now anyway). The first six wins there was always luck involved but these last 6-7 games have been pure skill where luck played no part. COYW. RLSWA.

Totally agree Joan..

I was talking to @billymac on the concourse before the game and we both agreed that it was great to get excited about going on games again….. Looking forward to watching our more attacking style of play.

It’s good now that Lowe has moved on with the tactics.

Playing two up front is a massive difference. Today apart from ten minutes we were always on the front foot, going forward, creating attacking play. Compare that to a couple of months ago it’s like a lightbulb has been lit.

Keep it on the front foot. Go to score from the off. Do not sit back and hope to get a chance off a set piece. Football is simple. Go for it, just go for it, then if we miss out at least we will have gone down fighting. Do not whimper out into mediocrity by sitting on the back foot.

Looking good, keep it up.
