I have nothing concrete, I was sent a text of a mate who is an Everton fan and he said it is doing the rounds between there fans that we maybe getting him on loan.
This is only going to be allowed to happen if Moyes gets one of his striker targets in, one of whom is Bendtner on loan from Arsenal.
Not sure how much truth is in it but thought id share the wealth 🙂

I personally think Vaughan would be the kind fo striker we are looking for in a current position, he is strong quick and a workhorse but also knows where the back of the net is.

Fingers crossed there is an element of truth in this.

Its good to hear something Mark even if its only a rumour, the silence from deepdale is deafening

There's also a few rumours (on the Sky Sports rumour page) that Palace are offering some brass for him for a permy contract.

My Everton mate reckons they dont want to sell Vaughan as he has done well when out on loan. They see Vaughan as having a decent future as he is still young enough to keep on and try and progress.

Would love this to be true. When he played at Deepdale for Palace this year he won almost everything in the air and he has a bit of an edge to him. It's about time Moyesy did us a real favour and I suspect he would show people mourning after Parkin what a fast, mobile and strong forward would bring to a relegation battle.

'Under current FIFA regulations, players are forbidden from playing for more than two clubs during a season, thereby preventing any loan spell for Vaughan up North.'

How have Manure got away with this then?

'In September 2010, De Laet joined Sheffield United on a 30-day emergency loan deal after the Blades suffered a defensive injury crisis, with both Chris Morgan and Robert Kozluk ruled out for several weeks. De Laet returned to Old Trafford at the end of this month having made six appearances for the Blades.

On 17 November 2010, De Laet joined Preston North End on a 28 day loan after an injury to first team defender Callum Davidson.

On 14 January 2011, De Laet joined Portsmouth on loan until the end of the season.'

I wish our posters would carry some back ground research before spouting out shite on this forum.

They are as bad as the daily tabloids to fill spaces in there news columns!

There is a scottish team trying to resolve a similiar case. They are trying to get a player on loan who has been on an emergency loan and a "proper" loan. The scottish club are trying to get clarification on whether emergency loans count towards a player club.
If thats the case could we not sign Vaughan on a 30 day rolling emergency loan?
