Lashers game at Gloomfield

Lashers game at Gloomfield

You will not sell out the home ends.

Remember Vicki Oyster offering us an extra 2,000 or so in the Scratching Shed...your lot bleated Nooooooooo!....Vicki O said reet, you have 2 weeks to buy up the rest of the ground before selling these 2,000+ to the Scum public...you failed BIGTIME 😀...we took em off your hands and shifted them...the entire Kop and Scratching Shed taken over by PNE...over 5,000 Nobbers in a gate of 9,000 and something.

Think on before spouting off Cockle.

THAT NEVER HAPPENED. if you are a lasher.

i remember it well. they could not sell the tickets and vicki said the very thing on radio lancs.

WE DID HAVE MORE AWAY FANS THAN THE HOME DID ON THAT VERY DAY. shame it was a shite game.

as for this season. i cannot see the lashers giving us any more than the 'outside in the rain' stand. it would not make sense for them. they have season ticket holders in them seats(few i know) but that is were they singer is and that tit with the drum tobacco. oh yeah and the knobhead with the drum. 😱

I too remember it well, as I was gutted when my dad said he couldn't get us a ticket, and when we got more tickets I was buzzing. Was a crap game, the only highlight I can remember was Gregan and that dirty bastard Brabin nearly kicking the shit out of each other.

Oh and 4,500 Nobbers "jumping around if they hate Blackpool"!

Well done Wooley for bringing this up, just about sums up the lashers!

How's the mighty Lee Collins settling in to life at Preston? I imagine the shirts with his name on the back will be selling pretty fast

Help's if you get his name right you tit.

How are you doing with our cast offs, many of you got Ormerod on your shirts again?

ahh it's Neil isn't it? I was thinking of our stunning ex player Lee Collins.

Ormerod is playing awesome. Did you see his work for our third goal. Maybe he didn't eat enough big macs to make Preston's team

I bet you all the money I have that our Big Mac eater Parkin will score more than Ormerod.

You lot seem to be very cocky at the moment, I for one am looking forward to you being made to look like arseholes yet again.

He might do, but unlike Preston, Blackpool look to improve their squad so I imagine we will have a new striker soon.

You have to admit we have a right to be cocky at the moment; have you seen our team!

Have you seen the league table?

Yeah and still yet to play the dross you have played so far this season.

Don't get me wrong, I think expecting automatic promotion is too much. We have come on leaps and bounds but this shift in expectation is unrealistic in my mind. Therefore, on this basis, I will accept making the play offs. Not ideal but I am sure we can make a better fist (kinky) of it than the Nobbers.

yes i have. its not over impressive. you may have actually signed players, but have you the balls in the long run? you dont know, because its a new team.

as for ordinry-rod, thats just what he is, and if he is shinning in your team, then you are due a few disapointments in the long run. i know a couple of players you have signed are good players, but most are 'cheap gambles' and you need for them to over perform. if it goes wrong, you will be another barnsley. in fairness hollowhead talks a good game, but in last 2 jobs didnt deliver. remember that.

bristol city(home) - good side

doncaster rovers(away) - beat cardiff last week so are not that bad

barnsley(away) - caught them on a bad day(about time we did that)

peterboro(home) - not a bad side and had to work to beat them

ipswich(away) - was walking the game untill we lost a player and then got a draw with 10 men for 50 mins

so you play 1 more at home and win less? i think the poppers have siezed your head.

You have to take gambles in life to succeed. The ones that don't end up stuck here like Preston. :gentry:

2 more at home?

QPR (a) - Very difficult
Cardiff (h) - Most one sided game ever seen and should have had 3
Derby (h) - Again, we were better team but always gonna be tough
Watford (a) - Never easy
Coventry (h) - Easy win and long time coming

Wigan (h) - 4-1, the opposite score of when you played them in friendly.

Although no easy games, you can safely say on paper (I know in this division, doesn't mean much) we've had much harder games.

I think you will be around the play offs but just a bit worried about your stamina. Are the likes of Mellor, Parkin and Chaplow going to stick to their strict only 1 big mac a week rule as the season progresses?

your right, but shit or bust? i cant see the likes of a freebie fullback from walsall or loads of other cast offs championship sides doing the buisness. never happened before and cant see it happening now. far too much competion going on.

the reason why we are still here and probably will be longer than you, is that we have taken the gamble from time to time, but its not paid off to a degree and we have not gone up, but we have had the 50/50 ticket(something you only dream off next..please) and twice it didnt happen...get over it, we have missed out and yet come back. we are still as strong as any other championship side with a lot less investment and no parachute payment. its hard here, and you should be happy that you can competion 8000- average crowds.

i watched the wigan game on satellite and they were shit. you was not good, the thing was you got the chances on the night and took them against a side that could not string 3 passes together. a fellow lasher did agreed with me on that. yes i got the 2 home games wrong.

Even our resident "realistic" lasher satsuma has been spouting shite.

Err....leave me out of it!😉
From what I have heard,EVENTUALLY the North Stand(or part of it) will be given to away fans and the South Stand(with the pub in it😉)will be for home fans.
As far as I`m aware though there has been NO OFFICIAL club line on what will happen when the south Stand finally opens.
Maybe the club will wait and see how many home fans fill the Stands before deciding on how many to give to away fans,or whether to divide the North.
My worry is the Gene Kelly has only been given a licence by Blackpool council to stay until the end of 2010/ 2011 season. The way our beloved chairman operates I can see a huge hole then remaining there for years to come, like has been at the south end of the ground since 2002!
Oyston....BUILD THE EAST!!!🙂

Why build the east when you can,t fill the 2 home stands you have now ? that new little south thing must be handed over to away fans or that rusty old north thing , because you sure as hell wont fill them .

You are right Dirk, who would build an extra stand when they can't fill the stands they already have ?

Can you think of anybody who has done that ?
