For a week or two now, whenever I click a link on here to the official site I get an error message. Has anyone else had the same problem?

This is the last error message I got:

@jakehake ???

I've just noticed that this happens on my computer but not on my phone so it's probably a problem at my end.

Couldn’t see the error myself, tried a few on laptop and on phone all worked fine. Maybe try clearing cache or copying links and opening incognito just to see if it makes a difference or same behaviour

I am the same, probably a cookie or cash issue related to the new North End site.

I
I’m going to have a good look tomorrow. I don’t fancy deleting cache/cookies though because that can have other consequences

@jakehake ???

I noticed it yesterday or Sunday. Haven't tried clicking a link today though.

Just tried one.

So, now we know it isn't just the PNE website but I've been trying others I could find and they were fine. for example BBC News and Twitter.

That link is the PNE website too. It looks like an issue with how people build websites but it could be that it’s a xenforo issue that when they use the URL links they add too much data round it. Though a google earlier this was the only website linking it to xenforo. Cloud strike gets mentioned also so it’s potentially a change in that handling

What browser do you use when you get the issue?

Safari, but only on my computer. It’s fine on my phone on which I also use Safari.
