I think that everyone was well aware of my opinion of Ricketts before we signed him, when 99% of buffoons on here were proclaiming him as the second coming.

When it comes to goalkeepers though, experience at the highest level is key because the quality of forward players you face is in general massively higher. Outfield players can wing it for a while, but not goalkeepers.

And I remember Jensen pretty much single-handedly keeping Manchester United at bay last season and he certainly wasn't embarrassed over the course of a whole season.

Lonergan, I predict, would be. He's got no bottle for one thing.

The reply was spot on, why do you insist on making yourself look a moron?

I would say Jensen is not better than Lewis or Westwood, but nobody said he was, it's Teffers we're discussing. Both are likely to play in the Prem at some stage in their careers, Lonergan hasn't a cat in hells chance, he's been exposed too many times at this level.

Lonergan is not going to be sold in this transfer window.

Andrew is currently in Spain with the rest of the team training and getting ready for the rigours of preseason.

He is having a barn conversion completed near Lytham and will be selling his property in the Cottam area. Andrew has no intention of going to Blackpool, Burnley, Blackburn or Bolton as he see's Preston as club on a par potentially with the premiership established sides.

He is a young goalkeeper and has some weaker area's of his game as do all players, however Andrew is one of if not the most consistent performer at Preston North End and always gives his best.

Why have I?

My argument is that Lonergan will never gain Premier League experience because his ability is such that no club will trust him sufficiently to give him that experience.

Jensen's Premier League experience clearly proves that was not the case with him.

As for Westwood and Lewis, they've got nothing to do with it. 😕
