It's crazy how many situations we've had like this in recent years, and we've still not learnt our lesson.

When there's 18-12 month left, that should be the period you try sort out a contract, mainly for actual assets. It doesn't really matter for the squad players. Then if you can't agree a deal, look to sell them that summer. Constantly pissing money away.
 
No other club would lose so many saleable assets for nothing in such a short period of time, just think how much we've missed out on through Pearson, Davies, Browne etc and potentially Riis next summer, those players alone could have brought in millions for the club 😡

Having read that, I gather they are all looking after each other my question is who is looking after the club with its best interests at heart ? Bloody unbelievable it’s all about them stuff the club .

It's not just PNE though; footballers and their agents knknow that running down a contract means more money in their pockets, simple really. Read a wonderful quote from Jude Bellingham last week where he said that his love of Birmingham City, the club, fans and city, meant that he signed a new contract even though he 100% knew that he would be moving at yhe endof the season because he wanted BCFC to bemefitrather than only receicing compensation. You see, it not always only the club"s fault. Players do not care lessa about PNE, the fans or the city. Not even Browne who.professed his undying love for all only months prior tojoining SAFC for 'less money' cough cough hahahaha. Let's all be sensible about thisand players and money, money, money....

Lowe and Ridsdale are absolute arses, we know that.The ownership, however, are even more culpable as they continue to allow this situation to arise time after time. Absolutely shambolic.
