Thats seems to have passed quickly but obviously for you it will have seemed like eternity. The process of Police and enquiry etc will drag on but should come to a conclusion at the inquest.
Still think of you all often and little George.
Just take one day at a time and remember us all on here are more than willing to help in any way we can. Just reach out if you need it.

Thank you very much Ian much appreciated.
As a family we have been taken aback by the emotional support we have received.
Just also checked the latest donation figure to Mary's Trust and now at over £620 to help others, again we are so grateful.

George is still remarkably calm and enjoying his new year in school and likes his new teacher.

Just wanted to update today as it is World Suicide Prevention Day.
There are many good people working to help others and let us all know we are not alone.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone who have been affected and struggling.

I guess a month feels like a milestone, there will be many more

Just a little update today as another milestone passed, 50 days since Rachel passed.

We met with Sharon and Paul O'Gara last week of the Mary O'Gara Foundation and final sum raised for the charity was £672. Thank you all for your support it really is appreciated.

There will be an art display and 4 books of childrens poems at UCLAN in October which this will fund.
More detail to follow as we get it.

George is still happy, loving and calm and looking forward to Legoland Windsor on Saturday for his 8th birthday.

Lots still ongoing with various investigations that hopefully something good can come out of.

Thanks for the continued support it is very much appreciated.

Don't know if me posting is helping others but it does help me and Ruth but sometimes I think should I?
We have come back from Legoland in the last couple of hours after a good 2 days for the family and especially George.
He's had a great time and so have we watching him and being involved.

Tonight though it's hit home on his and Stars birthday their mum wasn't here to celebrate with them.
It's a journey for us now but tonight we feel it most.

Thoughts are with you and your family, it will be difficult for Ruth and yourself, but you sound like your being strong and doing the right thing being there for George.
Look after yourselves as well though.

Yes is the short answer
Not for us lot - for you
to simply capture thought in words and can be quite powerful as I am sure you are feeling.
You don’t even need to press enter at the end - just the peace in the moment of capturing your thoughts is a good thing to do and helps with mental health.
Remember - put your oxygen mask on first ( just as he boards a plane 🙄)

Just read this thread for the first time and I just want to add my condolences to you and your family. I was in the same year at school as Sharon and know a little of the work her and Paul have been doing since the same fate befell them. I hope you, your grandson and all your family find some form of peace x

Going to be a roller coaster of emotions but so is everyday at the moment.
