I try to keep a well balanced view and a realistic outlook , we need forwards or were screwed , its nice getting results in low key friendlies but they mean squat .
 
Just to confirm, this should be AFC Wimbledon's first team:

Terry Brown interview: boss raises the bar for Preston

Terry Brown says that pre-season will step-up a gear for his first-teamers against Preston North End tomorrow night.

The Dons boss has experimented with youngsters during our friendlies so far, but he says that getting 90 minutes into those who will start the season at Stevenage in two weeks' time is now crucial.

"I need to get to a situation where I am giving 90 minutes to the 11-14 players who will be regulars," Terry said. "Preston will offer me a chance to do that. We have mixed youngsters in with the seniors and at any given time during our friendlies we have had at least six or seven young players in the squads. They are players with no experience of men's football whatsoever. Some of the yougsters have acquitted themselves well, but Preston offers us a chance to concentrate on the first-team."
 
Beautiful play for PNE, they are passing the ball around for fun, again Monakana nearly finished off another great team move but Seb Brown got down low to save with his feet.

why are they starting the season against Stevenage ?
 
Very pleasing stuff so far by the sounds of it.

If Cummins and Holroyd can manage to do something and gain some confidence too then it's samba time!

How has Winnall played anyone? seems like Sodje has helped his cause but not sure about tother?

Winnall had some nice touches but not been hugely involved. Set up Byrom's second with some clever play.
