TEAM NEWS
Bradford will be without defender Robbie Threlfall after the left-back was sent off at Torquay at the weekend. On-loan Norwich midfielder Tom Adeyemi is cup-tied while Jake Speight is struggling with a knee injury.
Preston manager Darren Ferguson is monitoring the fitness of defender Wayne Brown, who missed Saturday's win over Portsmouth with a calf strain. Midfielder Barry Nicholson remains a long-term absentee as he recovers from a leg injury.

MATCH FACTS
Head-to-head
• This is the 60th meeting of these teams. Bradford have won 21 of the previous 59, Preston have won 19, and 19 have finished level - but this is their first-ever meeting in the League Cup.
• They last faced each other in the Championship in 2003/04, when both fixtures were won by the home team.

• The West Yorkshire club are aiming to maintain their 100% home start to the season, having won both Carling Cup and League Two fixtures at Valley Parade.
Preston
• Preston reached the second round by thrashing Stockport 5-0 at Edgeley Park. It was the second year in a row they had scored five goals in the first round.
• Darren Ferguson's side go into this tie having secured their first points of the league season, courtesy of a 1-0 home win over Portsmouth.

The PNE Online Man of the Match for the Portsmouth game was Paul Coutts

Theres no point signing in that early tbh even when it is working the commentary only starts coming through a couple of mins before kickoff at best.....and your maths is terrible 7+8= 15 😛

Does anyone know if the match is on Radio Lancs? I don't really wanna rely on PNE player - bloody awful service.
