Match Preview:- (From Sporting Life)

Derby could be unchanged for the fourth straight game when they return to Championship action against Preston at Pride Park.
Boss Nigel Clough fielded the same XI for the league games against Sheffield United and Newcastle and again for the FA Cup tie with Birmingham on Saturday.
He said: "The likes of Russell Anderson, Chris Porter and David Martin, who will come back into the squad for Tuesday's game, are champing at the bit but if the players in the side maintain the current level of performance the side will stay unchanged barring injuries.
"We are very happy with the 11 we are putting out and the bench as well."
Forward Steven Davies (hamstring) and defender Dean Leacock (knee) could come back into the reckoning before the end of the month.

Preston will hand a debut to new signing Tom Williams.
Boss Darren Ferguson raided former club Peterborough to sign Williams on a month-long loan as cover for injured captain Callum Davidson and the left-back will go straight into the squad at Pride Park.
Ferguson has no fresh injury or suspension worries to deal with but defender Davidson, who has missed the last two games with concussion, will again sit out.
Midfielder duo Richard Chaplow (groin) and Paul Parry (knee) are still not ready to return while long-term absentee Barry Nicholson (broken leg) also remains sidelined.
Ferguson's men will be looking to get their bid for promotion back on track by extending their unbeaten league run to three games.

The PNE-Online Man of the Match for the Blackpool game was Coutts.
The Player of the Year Table is therefore as follows:-
Lonergan 5
Mellor 4, Sedgwick 4
Brown 3, Chaplow 3, Parry 3,
Coutts 2,
Carter 1, Chilvers 1, Davidson 1, Hart 1, Nolan 1, Parkin, Shumi 1, St Ledger 1, Tonge 1, Wallace 1, No-one 1

What's the deal with Chaplow? He's hardly been mentioned by DF since his injury. At the time it looked like his side had been knocked. Now it says it's a groin injury.

No idea about Chaplow, but he was in the stands Saturday alongside Shumi, Parry and Davidson.

Sod it, I've decided to go - I've tried talking myself out of it but I quite like going to Derby for some stupid reason.

NOT!!!!!

For me a PNE game comes before ANY other sporting event never mind a bunch of oily feckers prancing around the pitch with Mancunians.
I've said it before , never in this world is Yoga a Nobber , and the fact that he can wait till the next day to check the result cements that fact.
Yoga your a FANNY!!😡

Aye but the folks here in singy would think i was poty if i missed the man u game on tv in the hostel common room
Thank god they, like you, will think you are Irish. Most Man Utd fans are from outside of Manchester so the people of Singapore are astute enough to know that a scruffy old Irish vagabond would fit in nicely at Old Trafford.

Well a pretty strong hint by DF that he will rest Youl and Hart for tonight. So you presume that means we will see Williams and either Chilvers or Collins starting. Frankly I think Chilvers deserves a go - he is a player I like and his ability to play an accurate long ball out of defence might be a useful complement to the running of Wallace and Welbeck. I would expect the latter two to start and in fact would be surprised if there were to be any change to the front six, though maybe Treacy might get in ahead of Sedgwick purely on the grounds that he will be fresher. I have had a feeling ever since Saturday that though Welbeck could not impose himsef in the hurly-burly of a local derby tonight might be very different.

I was going to go but as I'm at the Toon match on Saturday & round Newcastle Saturday night which could prove a little costly.

Agreed Ernie but i fear that with Collins replacing Youl we will concede heavily , i too would much rather see Chilvers getting a crack of the whip.
Thing is whoever plays will have to play out of their skin to dislodge SSL or Youl for next week's biggie against the toon.
Not feeling confident of owt tonight i'm afraid.

his inability to defend might stop him getting in though
