McAvoy sacked (Confirmed)

I hope so MB and Lowe as replacements in mind to assist him, maybe Gally and Thomo will fit the bill but not sure about that, would have preferred some new blood in the coaching staff, part of Lowe's set up at Plymouth.
More than that, I would have preferred Ridsdale leaving the club, but I suppose we can't have everything. I just hope that Lowe is appointed as manager and given the space to manage.

Edit: just seen the above👍

I have to say I’m quite surprised he’s coming on his own. Seems the done thing these days for managers to move lock, stock & barrel with all their team behind them.
That's my worry, a big step up from Div 1, and on his todd, needs a lot of support to find his feet, would have been much easier with familiar faces and people he can trust. One thing for sure he will certainly show us his metal in the first few weeks.

Hopefully he injects a new dynamic in the play and squad and things get better, as I said before best of luck Ryan Lowe, and may you succeed and move us out of the doldrums.

I see this as a rushed replacement with the usual gamble by Ridsdale, no plan just replace FM with a rated Div 1 manager, but without the team that helped him get there.

Disappointed no other candidates interviewed, the usual Ridsale planning - no plan, no strategy. One thing is for sure, he won't be sidelined through injury. Anyway Mr Lowe welcome to Deepdale and best of British.
I am by no means a big fan of Ridsdale.... But...but...come on.... This is inaccurate & grossly unfair. I believe this has been planned for a while & there is a clear strategy in terms of the direction of the manager. Criticise when it is due, but this is just ridiculous

Plymouth have a very good chance of being a Championship club next season so this fellow Schumacher is just showing some ambition and independence of mind by staying there as manager. Nothing wrong with that. If Lowe does become our new manager then maybe someone wh might follow him could be Danny Mayor.
I think that ship has sailed Ernest. Always liked him as a player but can't see him stepping back up to the Championship at this stage of his career.

Some of us watched him at Springies as 15 year old...... attacking in the Sean Devine style !
And tell me Sonny Jim what have you to say about Ty Dolan? You give it the big one about knowing our youth set up but when it came to the crunch, unlike me, you weren't prepared to pay Dolan's £24k wages to keep him at Deepdale. I was prepared to do so after I had spoken to Mark Rankine.

Dave Seddon refused to run the story in the LEP which could have shamed the club into offering him the deal he had earned.

As for Leigh? I think the West Ham, Everton interest was his agent's hype because he's nowhere near as good as the injured Bennett or O'Reilly.

You have the amazing capacity of not being able to identify young emerging talent.

Well not many of your young talents identified made it past Division 1...Voldemort?
