So what is the upshot of this thread? Perhaps we could do with JK giving us an answer about mod elections.

1) Why have mod elections stopped?
2) Are there any plans to re-introduce them in the future?
3) Can we please stop throwing the term "mod-baiting" about every time a poster takes a mod to task. Mods should not be seen as untouchable and hide behind their status if there is reason to question their comment/decision.

I dont think any of us are hiding behind our 'status' to be fair.
At the minute i personally think we need to appreciate what weve got with this forum.
Its still standing and still far better and far easier to navigate than most other footy forums i have come across.

Lets hope it all continues to be so for the forseeable future. This current set of mods have done a much longer term than we originally signed up for. We arent hanging around indefinitely and deliberately. Were hanging around because weve been asked to carry on helping out for now.
