Mod elections.

Mod elections.

Having one admin is a bit shit, or at least that's the way it's coming across.

Surely it's not a hard question to answer as to whether there's likely to be a mod election any time soon. I don't particularly care about there being an election, but with this, along with the shabby look of the forum at the moment, it's pretty hard to see what the forum patrons get for their money besides the obvious hosting costs. I don't expect much, I just want to be informed. Communication is poor.

Weve already told you all this, you wasnt listening which is why it seems like poor communication!

The plan is to move away from vbulletin the forum format so doing it all up only too move shortly after would be a big waste of time... You big moaner Loathsome! 😀

To be fair, I do remember Jakehake posting the same thing not long ago. And yes, I am a big moaner.😀

I still think communication is poor from the top. Not necessarily from the mods, though it doesn't help that a few are constantly absent. I just think that in the past, the admin of the forum have done a much better job of informing forum users of what is going on.

We had 3 Admin back then which helped if 1 or 2 were offline, now we have only the one who also has other commitments away from here.

I actually like this basic look now. Kinda grown on me!

I think everyone, yes everyone, has some commitments away from here. It's fair enough that people can't constantly be on here. As you're basically pointing out, having only one admin is the issue, not the admin himself.

i don't really care how the forum looks to be honest. My only issue is that getting an answer to a question on here, as demonstrated by this thread and others, is sometimes, not always, harder than getting blood from a stone. I mean honestly, how hard is it to answer the question of whether there will be a mod election anytime soon?

Personally, I would add maybe 1, at a maximum 2 extra Mods to help moderate things.

Yes. Very desperate. I actually sit at home sometimes crying while refreshing the forum hoping there will be a mod election.

That's very nice of you.
