Had a text from a mate who supports that lot with the tower who claims they have made an offer for one of our players. May just be a rumour.

The fact that they are at the club doesn't mean anything is going to happen. They will probably work late on deadline day regardless of expecting any deals or not. Just in case. At the end of the day they are running a business and need to be there just in case on days like today.

Can you imagine if a target became available tonight or City bid £7m for Morgan and they had all gone home for their tea?

I can imagine a hell of a lot of things if I try hard enough, but not that. 🙂

What I don't get is why do we have to wait till then? Why can't we loan them today until end of season? We've 2 massive games this week where we could do with an extra body or two. If bring someone in on 8th Feb will the 93 maximum day loan last till the end of the season?

Totally totally agree. I asked the same question at work this af, i dont see why we cant get the loanees now. Is it perhaps their clubs are hoping they can sell?

Who says they are not trying?

ML would look rather silly saying we are hoping to bring in..... no of players, and then they don't get them done in time!
