Multiple accounts

Any chance these can be stopped? It's causing a lot of unneccessary arguments IMO. I don't know why it's permitted, although I guess there must be a reason. I can't think of many other sites where you'd be able to create different accounts with the same email address/IP address?

Im pretty sure they arent allowed and when theyre detected both IDs are banned.

They are not permitted.

As soon as we identify a multiple account we ban it and take action against the original account.

We have plenty of tools to detect multiple registrations. However, those who are determined to set one up can find ways to try and circumnavigate them.

We do always find them eventually but often proving it is difficult.

We are currently discussing and assessing a few accounts and they will be dealt with soon.

As a side note. We do apprecaite our patrons but users who donate on one account does not excuse the use of multiple others and we will still ban them and or take action against your "patron" account as much as we don't want to.

We ask all users to please respect the forum guidelines.
