Was that your van outside the back of Ulverston Post office last night about 4-30pm JD? I was just nipping in the building society then was going to nip back and see if it was you but the van was gone, I could see it heading back down the A590 past the Roxy.
No,i'm on nights this week.
Last week i was there @ 18-15 every night. That vehicle is the earlier Preston lorry. I was the one that went to Barrow then Ulverston on the way back. Its one of my favourite runs. Great spectacular views. Greenod's estuary always catches my attention.
Om Monday morning,i was in Grange O S @ 0520am...took some photos on my phone of the bay....stunning to view in the morning sun. One of the perks of the job,i get to view what tourists pays hundreds to view. 🙂

I like the view as you drop off the Lindale by-pass dual carriageway towards Newby Bridge and you are met with the view of Coniston Old man and the Langdale pikes. 🙂
I sent Bint a picture of the Kirkstone Pass inn where I was having a sun blessed pint last night but she wasn't taking me on. The scenery up there seems unreal somehow.
It was only £3-50p for a pint of lager, robbing bastards! 😱

Coming back from Barrow town centre past the hospital,you go left at the mini roundabout and up a short hill. After about 2 mins,just before the hill drops to the big roundabout/A590,you have a wonderful view of the bay/mountains/Millom? on the other side.
Priceless when its clear and sunny. 🙂

Seems I'm the only one that thinks he's being a tool. He did it when they were on holiday. I was expecting a right ear mashing off Dad when I got in the car that night, and text a few people to confess to murder prior to commiting it, but no! He was fine about it, so was mum.
It won't happen for ages yet. Got My auntie's Chief Bridesmaid duties to fulfil first! 😉
