Possibly not, but as far as Carter, Collins and Elliott are concerned, I agree entirely with the decision to put them up for sale and get them off our wage bill 🙂 Now I've almost praised Ferguson, it's time for a lie down 😀

This should be made a sticky so that if we do go through a bad patch the pillock that he is (bsk4ever) can be reminded of exactly why it happened.
 
If ML released a statement sayin we have had to pay Neill Collins off to get him to leave so we can move on I wouldn't give a toss. If he has got a transfer fee for him, even if its £50k, then he should be given the freedom of Preston.

"Put them up for sale"? It is all we can do to try and give them away.

Irvine really has set PNE back a few years both financially and maybe even with the strength of team that we can now afford to put out.

Yet you have spent months on here defending him? And you wonder why people on here are sick of you?

ive heard nominal fee and we had to reduce fee hence why 3yr deal .but who is bothered at least we get is 11grand a week wages of our wage bill , cheerz batesy ,,

I said at the time Collins joined us it was a poor signing and nothing he's done since has changed my mind. Every manager makes mistakes but I agree the amount of money wasted on Collins was ridiculous, I don't think anyone can defend Irvine on that one and I certainly won't. The fact Leeds are offering him a 3 year deal suggests they're not expecting their stay in the Championship to be a long one 😀

We should slip a clause in the contract that Carter is also signed as part of the deal.
 
Didn't see this thread, posted on the other

A mate of mine who is a Leeds fan ( he's ' In the Know' , knows a few agents.. ) says it's exchange for Michalik, another centre back, Slovakian international, so if this guy's any good, i'd be delighted if we could get a good player for Collins!
