Luton finished 17 points clear of us.Lutons success seems to have pissed on everyones chips but for me it shows that just a little bit extra and that could have been us.
The difference between the 2 teams is no "little bit extra".

They're in bed with Ridsdale and his cronies. Can't wait to see the new season photo in front of the Sir Tom splash shaking hands.Any of the PSC, next time you speak to Ridsdale, don’t accept a single bit of his rubbish without reminding him that Luton did it

A £2million striker would certainly have closed that gap, a fee that is "little" to a billionaire group.

Usually enjoy the humour in your posts however imposter syndrome and false reality are not for me.Which does put some folk off from enjoying the forum
It is getting extremely monotonous watching many threads degenerate into a moan fest
There is a lot to critique I’m sure but the level at times is OTT.
I got a rollicking off a good poster on here last season for whinging once too often about maguire which was warranted and good to reflect on.
Not all is bad at PNE, in fact quite the opposite.
Moan fest absolutely in some cases, brought on by 60 + years of mediocrity and that rests with the club, you reap the seeds you sow.
Simple questions on the playing side, currently do we have a team ? Will we have a better team at the start of the 2023 - 2024 season than that which finished the current season ? Is there evidence of progression ?

No £2m striker was going to fix a goal difference deficit of 32.A £2million striker would certainly have closed that gap, a fee that is "little" to a billionaire group.
We had much more in common with the bottom 12 than the top 12.
0.2%A £2million striker would certainly have closed that gap, a fee that is "little" to a billionaire group.
Let that "massive transfer fee" compare to the miniscule %.
I have just spent £280 on a ST which is 0.3% of my wealth having just done the maths.
All on the same page eh Peter/Craig/Kathryn.

It’s a bit of a moaning post about moaning I guess
I stand by the OTT element though

I think we'd've needed a couple of those £2m strikers at least. Or the striker and a couple of equivalent-value defenders to shore things up properly at the other end. Or the striker and a couple of genuine creative talents to provide goals for others too.Peter likes this.
It's as if we were at least a RWB and a goalscorer short all along. 🤔
Not sure what you call it in the UK, but over here it's called to "good ole boy network." Rich dudes giving other rich dudes jobs so that they can return the favor one day.I never got how such a successful businessman put so much faith in a man with Ridsdale's history.

We have toilets for birds? Heard of bird baths, but never toilets. How very strange. Why do birds need toilets?Don't they simply go as they are flying around? And why are they fix ing mirrors in bird s' to ilets when they need fixing in the women"s toilets?Don’t worry about things like this.
Ridsdale has assured us the mirrors in the birds toilets are being fixed.
Do you know how expensive they are to fit!

I'd argue that it was the fact that we can't actually pass the ball out from the back. We had someone who could score goals, but we were largely awful at creating chances for them.

Agree our back line is not good enough to bring the ball out of the back or for that matter pass it out, our midfield either got by passed as they were so deep or hardly ever showed for the ball and played a forward pass and our strikers apart from Cannon and Ched when he was fit we’re fairly useless but apart from that 🥴.I'd argue that it was the fact that we can't actually pass the ball out from the back. Hold on a sec fellas, I know we're all very cross but before we start chucking about these chairs I really need to do a dynamic risk assessment. To the other ultras "wow wow wow put that flare away pal that's not on, let's just drink a glass of milk and calm down"

Very good postI stopped going because i was bored off my head, at the games. Ridsdale and the whole regime are complicit in that.
I will continue to ask, "Is he still here?"
The reason being is that I believe the advice hes giving to the owners is stifling PNEs progress and holding the club back.
The club needs a progressive CEO like we had back in the days of Tony Scholes. Unless and until that happens I think the entertainment value will continue to be very limited as manager after manager ends up resorting to negative tactics because of the abilities of the squads they are being given.
I didnt boycott I stopped going because it was mind numbingly boring and i found better things to do, especially in the couples of hours before a game started.
I dont demand wins, although theyre always nice, but i do expect a modicum of entertainment at games i attend. Ive renewed my Season Card and live in hope for the new season ahead.
