There will be plenty of speculation.....

Brian Gray
Steve Jackson maybe....ok maybe not
Steve Cowell....you're right I'm only kidding

Maybe one of Hemmings right hand men...it's a crucial decision for Trevor who might reflect on getting the last decision wrong - mind you hindsight is a wonderful thing.

Whoever it is should preferably have some sort of football administration background, be an excellent communicator, a deal of vibrancy and should treat the backroom staff with the respect they deserve.

Maurice has gone and I wish him a speedy recovery - best decision for all concerned I think.

Onwards and upwards - come on you Whites

I would like it to be Brian Gray but, its doubtful. I echo your sentiments regarding Maurice, he has not had an easy job in fairness.

It would look good if a new man came in and got the club back to a professional standard again and getting the team promoted.

Isn't Trevs' son 'supposed' to be a bigger PNE fan than his dad?

Either him or Bryan Gray for me !

I really can't see D.S. returning, ever.

Hemmings is a smart businessman. And despite the protestations of many, including myself, Mo was a strong appointment with a decent pedigree. Primarily in Rugby I concede but he did not have his FA role for nothing.

Whoever the replacement, I expect they will be of high calibre. Doubt it will be one out of the middle of nowhere.

Another vote from me for Bryan Gray.

Wonder if Mo has kept his FA gig?

I don't want BG, but I would take him over Hemmings Jr, what we really need is somebody who has worked in football recently

Tony Scholes. Break the bank to bring this guy back to PNE.

Whilst Scholes would be unlikely to leave Stoke would it not be out of the realms of possibility that we end up with a Chief Executive instead or with a Chairman.

I think the next appointment will be a massive indicator as to where Mr Hemmings wants to take the club, and either way I think someone with a football background would be a excellent move.

Someone who will communicate with the supporters, something which is key when the owner prefers to stay in the background.

However I would suspect that ML leaving was likely for a while and Mr Hemmings may already have someone lined up.

Ive been asking for Maurice to step down for the last few weeks and Hemmings jnr to take the chair or Brian Gray ,
Hemmings son would bring a chairman to the chair with the pull and clout while Grays reputation as chairman says it all for me .

Thanks for everything Maurice and enjoy your retirement .
