Mate, it's not the fact that that dogshite occurred against Bristol City, it could have been anyone. If we'd lost in the same manner to QPR, the reaction would have been identical. I imagine most North End fans were just totally pissed off with how we showed zero fight in the second half. With all due respect, we should have been a couple of goals up by half-time. We did batter you for 40 minutes of that half. However, we couldn't convert and you took advantage, pretty clinically in my opinion. Doesn't help when your defenders can't defend though. Wayne Brown, all 13st of him (that's probably what he weighs, maybe more), was outmuscled by the pretty wiry Keogh. It was outrageous. Anyway, at the risk of sounding like a brown-noser, I for one think you're a good club with a really good support and I wouldn't want you to go down instead of Sheff Utd etc. Well, I would if it meant North End staying up but you can understand that.

Is it true the BFC fans were chanting 'let him die' when McLaughlin got injured, then didn't applaud him when he was stretchered off?

I looked over to the Kop as they where stretchering Conor off and I didnt see them applauding but I cant say I heard them chanting anything either.

So your fans always show respect to our club? What, you mean like yesterday singing to our manager 'You're getting sacked in the morning' or singing to our fans 'championship, you're having a laugh'?? Doesn't sound like much respect was being shown there.

Lets be honest about this, we should have put the game to bed in the first half. Your lot had 2 shots on goal the entire half and one of them resulted in a goal that came about because of a defensive howler by one of our players. It was only because of our shambolic second half display (perhaps brought about because of the horrific injury to one of our youth players - who incidentally your fans also showed no repsect to) that you managed to walk straight through us and score 3 more ridiculously easy goals.

So come on here and wallow in the moral high ground if it makes you feel better. But beating us yesterday was no achievement. A Sunday morning Pub team could have beaten us yesterday on our second half showing.

Are you serious? This is a PNE forum, for the discussion of PNE matters between PNE fans. We're all pissed off at what is a culmination of events, dating back far longer than just Saturday's game, and to suggest that the post you are moaning about "reeks of disrespect" towards Bristol City is utter nonsense. It doesn't even make reference to Bristol City, or in any other way imply that we were beaten by an inferior side etc, to be it's nothing more than an understandable moan about events in general at PNE.

If you want to read comments from people who thought Bristol City were great, try a Bristol City forum. We're too busy trying to get to grips with the mess our club finds itself in to be worried about having to pacify opposition fans with patronising comments!

Well done on your win, but seriously, have a think before posting nonsense like this.
 
Bristol did sing Let Him Die, but soon stopped when it became clear than a serious injury had occurred.

I did not look to see if they applauded when he was carried off.

Some were singing that, not a malority but certainly a few, at first. I gave a cursory glance at them as he was stretcherd off, and a good few I saw were clapping.

Its a complete lack of direction and guidance from the top, and till it changes things are just gonna go from bad to worse.

You have to go a long way back to our days in Div 4 to equal the dire running of the club like we are currently experiencing.

Trevor, you have bought the fucking club, tell us DIRECTLY as fans what you propose to do with it, and get that clown Lindsay out before he does any more damage.

You need someone with knowledge, drive and ability to start planning now for next season and on damage limitation for this season.

We are now relegated, only a miracle, or several clubs going into administration will save us.

And our owner says FUCK ALL.

Some of you lot think `Maurice` is doing a good job, heaven preserve us, he is a complete waste of space who has helped ruin this club.

So, by your reasoning, Peter Ridsdale was the best chairman that Leeds ever had ? I'm sure a few Leeds supporters may disagree with you on that.

You cannot ignore the excesses of the previous regime and the impact that taking PNE to the brink of bankruptcy has had on the club.
