Notifications when '@' mentioned in a post

Hi, just wondering if we should get notifications if we are mentioned in someone's post by using the @Muzza tag (for example)?
I've noticed a few posts recently where I've been tagged like that but it's not appeared in the Alerts bit.

It happens to me too, I don't know if it happens when there's quite a lot going on and the forum can't deal with all the notifications, it's probably one for @JK

It might not work if you simply type @ before the users name. If you type @ and start a user name, a selection box should come up and you need to select from that.

@LostinSpace yep that worked for me. I just figured other people had done what you did as well cause theirs also show up like a 'link' in blue font.

Yes, I think it's others doing it wrong rather than a problem at your end.

Yep, it came through but there's also times I've been reading through a thread and found a post with myself tagged in it, even though its in blue the notification hasn't come through.

I did a test 'preview' using your name but without clicking on the name pop-up and in the preview it still showed as blue, so it looks like you can type the @name without clicking on the pop-up but even though it shows up in blue you won't get the notification.

Deffo didn't get a notification.
