Notts County game Jan 7th to be cancelled.....

Notts County game Jan 7th to be cancelled.....

as they are in the FA Cup 3rd round. Chance to bring forward the Hartlepool home game fro a Tuesday night in Feb?

good shout to bring the game forward - might be a daft question but is it allowed to bring a game forward from a full fixture list a month later?

Thats why it won't happen. If we had a game rearranged for a midweek then that maybe could have been moved.

If it's cancelled, do we get three points? Or do you mean postponed?

Postponed comes from the Latin post = after pono = place. Thus to place after or re-arrange. The game will be played at a later date.
Cancelled is more difficult. Again coming from the Latin "cancellare" = to make a lattice (lots of crosses??) in Anglo-French it took on the meaning "to cross out something written". So cancelled means the game will not happen. Well done Kathryn!

To be honest Dazzler, I'm not sure we needed it explaining!

We may not be the most intelligent of bunch, but I'm sure we know the diffrence between postponed and cancelled.

Deepdale might be in use on the 7th Jan.....

I don't think the police will let Fleetwood play the Tangerine scum at Highbury. They might force them to move the game to the closest neutral league ground.

And Deepdale is a Neutral Ground to Blackpool ? ? ?

Probably Morecambes' would be more suitable......

A 1-7 defeat.

Well it wasn't - 3 seasons ago....And that was when LFC were GOOD!

Probably the right score & their 1st Goal was Brilliant, however we got the ball in the net & it should have counted. And Jamie Carrager was a right Crook.
The 2nd goal was a sickner....everyone except Lonners was up the other end.
I thought Mellor went into the game with totally the wrong head on him.
