They'll have to take a fair while longer yet to beat the time it's taking Port Vale to get the Lorne Street Stand finished at Vale Park!

You surely don't go through the process of knocking an old stand down and building a new one without the funding being in place?

I think people seem to be forgetting that last years trip to Oldham was only £5 on the clubs official coaches. We had around 17 coaches including double decker buses. Different story this year unfortunately. I think the club should have done the same deal.
 
A latic friend told me that building has ceased as Sports Direct gave them a set amount of money for the building which has now been spent.
 
Oldham season ticket holders have been moved out of the Rochdale Road End for tomorrow's game (announced on their official site yesterday I think) so it looks like we've got the whole stand to ourselves, presumably meaning there's potentially more than just the initial 2,000 tickets available. It will surely be made pay on the day later today.
 
@pnefc: Tomorrow's trip to @OfficialOAFC is all ticket. They are only on sale until 4pm today, visit the ticket office or call 0844 856 1966. #sgswa
 
What happens if you´re flying from abroad for the game? Utter bollocks. I could understand it for the Cup Final but not for a poxy local derby.

Perhaps they don't need the money?

Would seem a bit stupid making harder than necessary for some fans to get a ticket if they do need the money.

Maybe its a cunning ploy to keep our numbers down due to our great following last year when we dicked em 3-1, just a thought as they are around the p/offs and reaching them is far more important than an extra 1000 Nobbers roaring our team on.

And why can't the ticket office stay open 'til around 6pm on a Friday before an away game?

Payday, give everyone a chance to finish work, etc?

Perhaps the tickets have to be returned to Oldham? I still think there will eventually be an announcement that it's pay on the day tomorrow but this way of doing things (presumably at Oldham's stipulation, no blame to our ticket office) seems madness.

Aye probably, 4pm is probably a time set by Oldham so we can tell them how many we've sold so they can then say it's pay on the day with X number of tickets available....

If you can buy over the phone, you can collect the ticket at Oldham. Not helpful for those who either can't phone before 4pm or are cash buyers though.
 
There will be pay on the day........... If there isn't then Oldham will never have enough money to finish that stand!... 🙂
