Parking options

Travelling down from Scotland by car for Friday's game with my son for our first ever visit. Any advice on parking, please? Would rather avoid the hefty £15 to get parking at the stadium! Cheers.

Acorns Primary School on Blackpool Road is a 5 minute stroll.
St Gregorys Primary school also on Blackpool Road is similar.
There's a fair on Moor Park at the moment which might still be on so avoid that one.
Plenty of street parking around Watling Street Road including at the White Hart pub.
Avoid Sainsburys or the retail park as I think these are time limited.

Lower Bank Road. It get's busy but you can normally find a spot.
Park on there, then near to where it meets Chapman Road there's a cut-through that takes you on to Blackpool Road.
10-15min walk to the ground.
Hope the game will be worth the trip!

Loads of on street parking within 10 minutes walk. I’ve parked on Miller Road in the past - you can get much nearer than that, but it’s the only street name I can remember. That whole are has some spaces that aren’t directly outside peopl’s houses, which I prefer. It is handy for getting back onto the M6. Probably more like 15 minutes to Miller Road - like I say, can get nearer.

Do you have connections with North End, or do you just fancy taking in a random match. Whatever - enjoy your day.

No particular connected with PNE, it's more a case of my son (13) and I heading off for a weekend of watching football together. We're looking much looking forward to our first visit! 👍

Yeah normally lots park on Moor Park but fair is there to after Millwall so no one can park there White Heart Pub about 20 mins walk from pub to ground

If you're going to be arriving before 1:00pm then the bus station car park (post code PR1 1YT) is a good bet, £4 for 12 hours and it is approximately a 15 minutes walk to the ground.

There's not as much around the ground as there used to be - okay the fanzone has a bit going on now but not enough to kill a couple of hours with a 13 year old.
