Yes but with RL there seems to be some sort of a wider issue.

I not sure what.

There isn’t a wider issue. It’s just fans don’t like him for god knows what reason. Is it because he’s scouse? Is it because he’s in the media a lot? Is it becauseikes to be positive in interviews? There is no wider issue with Ryan it’s just fans want to hate on our manager for some reason and I don’t really get it.

The anti everything about Lowe from some quarters is frankly embarrassing.
The start we've had, the points on the board, the teams we are competing with (the three relegated sides still with a lot of PL quality and parachute payments) and it's still not good enough. Probably the best transfer window since God knows when and a decent squad of players being put together. Another couple of quality additions next time around and I think top six is achievable. Not saying we'll do it but taking Leicester, Leeds and possibly Ipswich and Southampton out of the equation, it still leaves two spaces up for grabs. Maybe more if a couple of the aforementioned don't kick on.
Why would we automatically presume WBA, Stoke, Middlesbrough and the likes will finish above us. Current league positions would suggest not. They've all been pretty flakey in parts so far this season.

I've a feeling one side's going to get a bit of a going over.
I don’t know which one though.
2-3 goal margin one way or 'tother.
Though I've predicted 2-1 to us🤣
Played them 14 times since we returned to the championship and in 11 of those games there have been 3 goals or more scored.
Probably end up 0-0 now I’ve pointed that out.

It's because people have already nailed their colours to the mast and are hedging their bets, if Lowe succeeds meaning a PNE victory then people are happy but then if he doesn't do well meaning a PNE loss their happy because they're being proven right all along, feeding the ego and god complex of a select few.

It's no coincidence that whilst we were doing well during the earlier parts of the season certain posters were nowhere to be seen, they mentally can't bring themselves to praise the man or club because they've invested so much time in slagging both of them off.

Again certain posters who I can't mention without the risk of getting a slap on the wrist have gone very much MIA, due in part to our summer business which completely negates the theories that the club was being traded down to be mothballed off the Hemmings's estate books in league 1. Add to that the stick that was being used to beat the club about not promoting or nurturing youth but now we have players like Best, FRG and to some extent Stewart coming through.

It's been a quiet few months for PR, some of his haters have been silenced.

I've said it before, I genuinely believe that there is a (small) section of posters who value their online "brand" more highly than the club's success.

I don't know why this needs to be explained again. But I guess some are unable to read or simply only read the comments they want too.

Nobody that I have seen is having a pop at Lowe for winning games or competing with the bigger teams in the division. I, and many others, have given him credit for the wins this season.

However, the bug bear for many was the complete negativity when we play. Away at Hull was one of the worst displays I have ever seen. Millwall wasn't far off and there was countless times last season when we absolutely stunk the place out.

He played the right team and Saturday and he was rewarded with 3 goals (however, he almost ballsed it up in last 10 with his bizarre substitutions and attempt to keep the lead).

All I want, is for us to be a bit more positive. We have some really decent attacking options and at times we have played seriously shit football. Its been turgid. Hopefully we have more games like the one at the weekend as I thoroughly enjoyed that.

There isn't some weird agenda. I just want us to watch an exciting product/'brand' not utter crap (and before the usual suspects start with the 'you need to be more pragmatic' etc, I know, but we have been pretty poor in a majority of our games this season).

I'm not sure anyone can take what you're saying seriously at this point, Ron.

You were shouting Lowe out last weekend. You flip flop more than italy in WW2.

We might not all agree all the time (that's what a forum is all about) but I'm sure we all want success for PNE. Yes, the football has sometimes been poor, boring even, but overall results are much improved so far this season. Hopefully RL will have learned something from last Saturday and will be a bit more adventurous in future?

Wasn't shouting it but was emotionally advocating for a change due to the poor results and football on offer, obviously emotions run high during/after football and after some reflection and new information becoming available in the form of results etc opinions do and should change, colours to the mast nailers are the ones who shouldn't be taken seriously due to never changing their opinion, this is football remember and things move fast.

I think I can also be forgiven for calling for a change after the Hull result, the first of me doing that over the season, not exactly flip flopping when we're a third into the season and I've supported him all the way up until the Hull game.

People throw the flip flop insult when they're offended by being called out for their bullshit towards Lowe and the club, if you want to align yourself with that crowd then be my guest.

I think the problem that people have with Lowe is that his words don’t quite match the deeds. Any analysis of his statements and what actually is happening reveals that there are times when what he says does not bare much relation to reality .
