‘I debate, that’s it’ - I’d like to understand the debate you were having when you were calling out another posters sister for ‘sleeping around’. You clog up the forum with your arguments on a daily basis and it certainly isn’t ‘debating’. Your petulant back and forth with Thracia was boring and all you did was name call. ‘I just debate’ though, yeah?

I do not ‘hate’ Lowe. I do not like him but I don’t have the energy to ‘hate’ anyone. Do I think he’s a good manager? No. Have I given him credit for results in the past? Yes. Do I think he’s the man to take us into the Top 6 and beyond? Absolutely not. And before you start with, ‘you don’t like him because he’s scouse’ my Mum’s side of the family are from Sefton so that has absolutely nothing to do with it.

Your last paragraph doesn’t even warrant a reply. I am not sure how I am ‘speaking for the entirety of the forum’ - you must not be very good with comprehension.

"Nobody takes anything you say seriously", talking for the rest of the forum with that post, your words not mine and it seems you don't understand the meaning of what you post.

Ahh so you're employing another pathetic tactic now of bringing an old post into a new argument to suit your agenda, again even more embarrassing and middle school level trying to defend yourself. For reference I brought that up in defence of Sedge Fan when he was being bullied by your friend PeePee, just giving him a taste of his own medicine, got nothing to do with todays topic.

Ok you don't hate him, but you do not like him for some strange reason, he has us 6th with scalps like Sunderland, Plymouth, Coventry, Stoke and Swansea this season, he even schooled JDT last season at Ewood in a 4-1 victory with a depleted squad and Ben Woodburn playing so he can't be too bad. He's also helped identify and sign Millar, Holmes, Osmijic, Frokjaer and Woodman and turned Potts from a laughing stock into one of our best players for the last 12 months.

I'd be interested to know where your dislike stems from, perhaps jealously.

It wasn't meant to come across as me talking on behalf of the rest of the forum, but I'd guess a large majority of people on here ignore your posts. In fact, I've had two people reply to me already saying they have you on mute/don't bother to reply to you.

I mean, I'm not. You just can't keep up with your own waffle. You said all you do is debate. I said you don't. You've proven my point by backing up what I said. You abuse other posters and hurl abuse at people who dare to call you out. You do not 'just debate'. We'll leave that point there.

As per, you ignore the parts of my previous posts you don't want to see. I've given him a lot of credit for the wins and the big results, However, I don't like the way we play football. I think his record against the big hitters in this division is pretty appalling and I don't think he is a great manager compared to others in this division. Therefore, that means I don't like him being the manager of my football club and there are better options out there (two who have just been taken by clubs in our division in the last few days).

I apologise that I do not like him as much as you do.

I put him on ignore a while back. Forum is far better for it.

Each to their own Hunter but I disagree ( we do this quite a bit 🙂 ) but putting posters on ignore never seems right to me. Much better to laugh at a tit making a fool of himself......... That said if it really grinds then fair enough as long as it's " one way "............ That two way " experiment " the forum tried was a bloody disaster. 🙂

You can make it stop, or I can make it stop

I'm too liable to get into arguments, you know that. Better for everyone that I remove the worst temptation!

Be interesting to see how the two managers mentioned do, it's obviously not a given that they will be a success at their relevant clubs.

Is the football on offer because both sides offer it or just us? I ask this because whenever I watch other matches not many stick out as high entertainment value say compared to the Premier League, many can be turgid battling in the trenches affairs because of the opposition.

I'd say there's only a couple in our league who play really good pleasing on the eye football but they either ship goals for fun or are basically Premier League clubs on a sabbatical in our division.

The likes of Stoke, Millwall, Huddersfield, Cardiff, Watford, Hull, Coventry, Southampton, Sheff Wed, Rotherham, Swansea, Birmingham and Bristol City haven't exactly blown me away when watching them with their style of football.

Fair enough. Don't remove me though, I only argue about specific subjects and then let them go. I'll probably be your your best mate on the next topic. 🙂

A sense of humour and the ability to not take yourself seriously on here helps too. 🙂

I don't mind an argument, I just get sick of the career trolls!

You sound like me! (and I'm another who highly recommends the use of the ignore feature albeit I do contradict myself by having a nosey sometimes so I can have a laugh!)

That Alex Neil's a top fella.

On ignore or just won't reply because you're fed up with having your backside handed to you. Either way follow this, which most certainly is not " hate " of our Manager. If anything I feel he's capable of much better:

He talks absolute shite in order to cover up his tactical ineptitude at times....

He now has a squad that can push for the playoffs but hasn't the confidence ( or nous) to let it loose regularly ( YET)

He's frightened of his own ( and the oppositions) shadow and hence the 7/8 defender lineups

His substitutions are excruciating and mind boggling at times

He got very lucky with some of those early results.

When he plays " safety first " the football is bloody awful.

I've not given up on him at all but his school report would read: Could do better "....You know it too.

It's because people have already nailed their colours to the mast and are hedging their bets, if Lowe succeeds meaning a PNE victory then people are happy but then if he doesn't do well meaning a PNE loss their happy because they're being proven right all along, feeding the ego and god complex of a select few.

It's no coincidence that whilst we were doing well during the earlier parts of the season certain posters were nowhere to be seen, they mentally can't bring themselves to praise the man or club because they've invested so much time in slagging both of them off.

Again certain posters who I can't mention without the risk of getting a slap on the wrist have gone very much MIA, due in part to our summer business which completely negates the theories that the club was being traded down to be mothballed off the Hemmings's estate books in league 1. Add to that the stick that was being used to beat the club about not promoting or nurturing youth but now we have players like Best, FRG and to some extent Stewart coming through.

It's been a quiet few months for PR, some of his haters have been silenced.

Good post, just remembered the club should now be in Administration, well that's what Them said

Of course it’s not, but I think Bristol City will invest well now under Manning. They were being massively held back under Pearson with him being an absolute dinosaur. They have a very decent squad. Millwall, at the moment, I’m not sure on. They don’t have the players to play the way Edwards will want to play currently.

Sunderland, Ipswich, Plymouth, from what I’ve seen this season watching North End, all play good football. West Brom, Boro also play good stuff and now Bristol City and Millwall have progressive managers, they will too.

It’s not exactly difficult to play decent stuff. We play it at times, but not enough for my liking. Of course, results are important but I get no real entertainment from watching North End currently.

Hopefully the penny drops for Lowe and that changes.

Giving Mads a free role and not screaming at him to track back or take chances might be a good start.
