Devils advocate here - and believe me, I've wanted Riddler out since he arrived - but what if him being pushed out has led to this collapse in failure to identify new players?

Not saying Riddler is the answer (never was); but has the vacuum left by the vacation of his strange omni-role meant PNE's hierarchy failed to fill the gaps?

Would explain the horrendous transfers/squad gaps.

My guess (and it’s only a guess) but I’d imagine PR has an extensive contacts list, and can pull favours especially when it comes to loans.

Maybe that’s why our loans this season have been poor if he’s not been able to get involved 🤷‍♂️
