Peterbrough job

[cauncey]

Is this true? Why the hell did Ferguson not go out and buy some decent defenders then and therefore probably keep his job lol

He probably thought the defenders he had were good enough.

Peterborough are a very ambitious club - do not rule it out.

Yep no doubt about it....I think they could offer 10-12k a week salary for the manager no probs....got a very very ambitious chairman with a few bob in his pocket

I know the Chairman came in with a bit of a blaze of publicity but since then they seem to have gone about it quietly. They certainly don't seem to lash out much on signings(though maybe they are more for picking up frees with higher wages) than upfront fees. I just still don't see them being a 'money' club even at Championship level. Maybe thats his plan though

[Oxo Whitney]

What about Boro? Actually while were on the subject what about the lashers? I'm sure he's so desperate to leave Deepdale that he has applied for every job in the football league. 🙄

Funny you should mention that.........;-) I can say no more....

Rule it out for that reason. The good citizens of Peterborough don't want boredom.

No... but the Chairman wants at least survival this year and Irvine would give them that 😱
