As per title, match day pie, what are we churning out these days? Same old stale grog that’s been heated up to the point I need 3 shots of hp to drown out that chargrilled flavour? Shall I bring my own?

Any flavour in the pies has been well and truly cooked out of them.
Dryer than a nuns aunt Annie with all the texture of an old flip flop.
Oh and about 4 quid for the privilege.

Used to get a butter pie at night games, tried one earlier this season and haven’t bothered since.
Now get 2 x Clayton park butter pies for £3 at the Spar adjoining the Saddle Services and have one at home before setting off. Other kept on stand by for another day.

This year's pies are HMPasties, it was set up by a Bolton ex-offender who employs likewise.

I wish Gornalls would just expand and cater - their pies are levels above anything served on North End
I've only had 2 pies this season, both the jerk chicken.... They're decent tbf, albeit expensive (nearly £5 a pie!)
With a new brain.
Suspect if they went to mass producing pies there quality would start to dimish as profits then become the aim of quality
