Another awful Wembley Cup Final pitch was the League Cup one between Arsenal & the mighty Swindon Town , who won with a Don Rogers goal 1-0. They played it in either February or March ...the day or so, straight after the "Horse of the Year Show".

Our pitch was Solway Turf and one of the best in the league 50 years ago, it was not like the Baseball GroundShould have seen them 50 years ago
