Play offs?

Depending on how the next couple of results go, the play offs are not unrealistic. The performance at Norwich last night showed that. The gap is only 5 points with 15 games still to play (45 points still to play for).
If only the ref had given that blatant penalty at blackburn we would only be 3 points off a play off spot, and only 2 points off rovers, who currently occupy that last spot.
Aside from the top 4, nobody seems to really want those final 2 places, so it’s all up for grabs. Bring on the Dingles! Win that, and it really is game on!!!

Let’s calm down, please.

We are far too inconsistent to finish in the Top 6 currently and we have a pretty torrid run now.

I know you have mentioned seeing how the next few games go, but we notoriously give up after about March so personally I don’t think it’s a possibility yet.

Rovers are in there at the moment and look how inconsistent they are! Nobody aside from the top 4 are consistent..

Yep. A fine February is usually followed by a moribund march and an abject April. Strikingly similar to last year and many years before.
Just hope that the green shoots we are seeing continue to grow and this time we can carry a bit of momentum in to the summer, when we will have to be extremely busy to supplement Gibson, McCann, Mads and Osmajic (increasingly looking like a very strong spine).

They are inconsistent, no doubt.

However, they have a bigger squad than us and aren't riddled with injuries like we are. They won't finish in the Top 6 anyway.

The top 4 will stay the same and Coventry and Boro will take the final two spots for me.

People (rightly) slag off Lampard but he's doing well with them and they have a very strong first 11. The game at their place in a few weeks will be very interesting with our record.

Traditionally we have always fallen away at the end of the season, but Paul heckingbottom’s teams don’t ..?

PH's seasons have involved a fair bit of "falling away" (he said his Hibs team "downed tools" towards the end of the season), and a fair bit of staying pretty much where they were.
