stuckman - 8 did what was asked very well and bread yet more confidence in the back line. he made 2 very good saves one where he was quick off his line to colse down attacker and one he plucked from the air with grace and elegance for a big lad, though he could of collected a couple of lose balls in the air but other than that great as always. and he had no chance for any of their goals
grey - 8 worked hard and got forward on occasion with good overlaps and made some great takles from their danger man no13. made a great goal line clearance near the end a real good defender
mcombe-6 made a couple of errors and looked like he was going to give fouls away, very involved but gave away a silly foul for the pen. but some nice twinke toes about 85 mins
MOM Morgan-9 had an excelent game, did very little wrong and dominant in the air. he's a new man.
Connor Mac- 6 out of position i know but today did a lot of basics wrong like simple passes, he did get better second half but overall poor, before leg break last season he looke class and im sure he'll get back
couttes-7 didnt quite look as sharpe today, not his usual self but still worked hard and is near impossible to shrug of the ball
MOM Doyle-9 my joint MOM with morgan, had a great game, very busy and although wased posetion a couple of times mad up for it, plus very unlucky with his ping pong shot that hit both posts
Parry - 7 did well to break through for the pen and converted well but a little sluggish and didnt cotribute that much to the game plus he cant get past a man and for a winger (im of the old school) that should be his job.
mayor-6 didnt have a good game, quite a few stray passes and not his usual self going on maizy runs, easily tackled today and in my mind should of come off at about 70 mins, he had some decent opportunities to score at the end but didnt look hungry enough for goal. maybe tireing from long run in first team for his first propper season a rest maybe...
barton-5 showed some good compsure on the ball but no ambition today, he seemed to run about chasing but at half speed and should of been subbed about 60 mins for juvel
Hume -8 worked hard but still not 100% match fit and sharp. aked too much of him being loan striker but much credit for his goal. a shinig examle to everyone in the team.

subs.
juvel -7 did well off the bench and put himself about- his toch was better today
douglas - 8 very busy when he came an didn see that much of the ball but right place at right time for poachers goal.

managers get a -7 .the players looked more organised , i question starting only one striker at home, the subs worked well when they came on but would of liked to see juvel replace barton and douglas to replace mayor at about 70 min mark when carlisle got on top alittle.

over all reasonable performance by all - the young lads in barton, connor and mayor had poor games but they will grow and we need to support them- its a good point that has kept up in 10th and 4 points off play offs. plenty positives to take from the game like the fantastic supporters and much to learn from for the 2 managers.UTW

Barton was vastly the worst player by far. It is criminal that you rate him only 1 point less than 3 others.
Due to that alone I don't give your scores a thumbs up. Also managers 7 , you having a laugh. The changes were too late in the game, also they failed to recognize or address that Barton was poor from the outset and permitted him 90 mins, which was a shocking decision.

Agree with all except Barton is a -56

Look at the quality or lack of it on the bench today though. A couple of injuries and we're down to the bare bones which is something that needs to be addressed.

The players were far too casual for long periods in the second half but Alexander in particular was trying everything possible to get the players pressing and pushing higher up the pitch. Our former manager would have no doubt stood there with his arms folded as the world passed him by.

Within a couple of weeks we're becoming a team that presses the opposition, and also tries to play football. We're not there yet, but hopefully by the time a new manager comes in we'll be a fitter and more organised team and plans will already be in place for what we need to do in January.

Stuckmann -7- Very little to do, no chance with goals but made a great save in the 2nd half.

Gray -7- Defended well and got forward at every opportunity.

Morgan -7- Starting to look fairly solid, decent game.

Mccombe -6- Ok though should have done better for their 2nd.

Mclaughlin -5- Although out of position he was awful. Trys to be fancy far too often and could have cost us a few times yesterday. His passing was dog shit also.

Mayor -5- Goes on decent runs then plays a poor final ball. Had a decent first 15 yesterday before his head dropped. Gave the ball away on countless occasions.

Doyle -8- MOM and had a great game. Tackles and gives it nice and easy. Very good player, get him signed!!

Coutts -7- A quietish game but kept the ball well and created the 3rd with a superb run.

Parry -6- Great finish from the spot and wasn't doing too bad. He must have been pissed off getting subbed instead of Barton.

Barton -2- Absolutely disgusting performance. Sort your head out Adam or fuck off!

Hume -7- Typical Humey performance, ran his bollocks off despite not being fully fit. Great finish for his goal as well.

Subs:

Tsoumou -6- Thought his touch was much better yesterday and he looked sharp when introduced.

Douglas - Can't rate due to only getting a few minutes but what a finish!!!!!😀

Stuckmann 7 - He is so good that you are a bit shocked when he lets one in. Can't criticize him for any of the goals, cruel deflection on second, zoko looked good on 3rd.
Gray 5 - all puff, hot headed long distance runner, would be nice to see him calm down
McCombe 5 - bit too physical at times. The penalty was the most blatant push I've seen in a while.
Morgan 7 - looked good
Connor 5 -Just a personal opinion but he seems to be a total liability - probably lacking confidence.
Mayor 6 - Seemed to lack a bit of zip
Coutts 7 - completely went missing when carlisle went ahead for 2nd time, supposed to be a captain. I thought to myself that he had no leadership qualities at the time. However, i changed my mind when he suddenly came to life at the end and created the equalizer from nothing.
Doyle 6 - good, bad and ugly all in one.
Parry 6 - Was he injured?
Barton 5 - scared of confrontation (seemingly), fans got on his back on every bad pass (unlike his colleagues who also fucked up regularly) actually hit some wonderful defence-splitting passes but seemed to be in a position that nobody (including the fans) understood.
Hume 7- Worked really hard, consummate professional, lacking fitness

Tsoumou 7 - Came on and finally showed what he could do well. Had a one on one type chance but was never going to score (we all knew that but I wish it would have gone in as it would have lifted a big weight off his shoulders) confidence lacking.
Douglas 6 - Scored the equalizer, just. He seemed to have forever to finish and almost fucked it up, reminded me of Rankine's goal against birmingham in play offs.

Look at the stats. Carlisle were by far the better functioning team, a decent outfit would have hammered us yesterday. Their back four was severely lacking and Tsoumou should have been used earlier.Cracking game to watch. Really enjoyed the drama

I don't know how anyone can give a defender a nine, when we conceded three at home!!
Simple - he wasn't to blame for the penalty or the very good goal by their best player (on the day) or the deflected goal - all these things can happen and if a defender does his job efficiently and without fuss then he deserves a NINE.

It's not really simple though is it? If he'd made four goal line clearances, and a massive last ditch tackle, fair enough. He didn't do anything to warrant a nine, or even an eight. He was average at best. He did everything I expect a centre half to do.

9/10 is saying he had an outstanding game, that's total rubbish in my opinion.

Stuckman - 7 - dealt with everything thrown in the box but kicking poor
Gray - 6 - not in the game enough but defended well when needed to (esp the header over the bar near the end)
McCombe - 4 - thought he was poor. Gave away the penalty and for a big fella was beaten in the air too often
Morgan - 8 - won most of his battles. Committed performance.
McLaughlin 6 - doesn't suit him playing on the left and gave the ball away in dangerous positions, but worked hard up and down
Mayor - 5 - apart from the pirouette didn't do enough for me, and gave the ball away too cheaply too often
Doyle - 8 - although MOM I thought he struggled first half to get to grips with the Carlisle players. Once into his stride however was a terrier, passed well and nearly scored
Coutts - 7 - in and out the game for me - but as Coutts does he kept going despite looking shattered and created the third
Parry - 5 - not in it nearly enough for me
Barton - 6 - disagree with the negativity - showed for the ball, retained posession and won his share in the air - just needs to be more dynamic
Hume - 8 - worked his little bollocks off - good finish and gave them hell

Tsoumou - 6 - thought he did well and caused them some problems but should have scored
Douglas - 6 - not on the pitch long, but scored!

What have I been saying all along??? Barton is fucking terrible.. Always has been, always will be.. When will you guys ever see it!! He's too overrated, I've seen better players for chorley.. Wait until he drops down the leagues!!
