Pleeeease can something be done...

All new members to carry the newbie tag for a month and no thread starting in that time , the month or 100 posts could act as a probationary period to judge them by . Also make away fans use the general football section then we could rid the other sections of wankers . simple really , oh and crack down on BSK and the like with spamming . easy this mod stuff 😉 .

Removing the quote button might solve some problems, but when I happened across this site a couple of weeks ago, I thought the quote button was its biggest strength. It makes conversations so much easier.

I'm a newbie. Have been on LEP forum for some years, but that descended into drivel (a bit like a few threads on here), led by a handful of attention seeking trolls. They've largely been cleared, but now it's just plain dull ! You have to get the balance right - so whatever action you take, be careful.

One change I'd have on here, is the removal of the worst swear words. The C word is just unnecessary and over the top for me. The F word is bad enough... I'd like to see that banned too. They aren't necessary to be funny or offensive - there are other ways But I'm the new boy. I can walk away if I don't like it. Would be a shame though, because this forum does have something going for it.
