I dont fancy us today. I actually fancy us more against Bolton than today. I think Hudders will havr ambition this season and im not sure we are ready to get going yet. Pre season weve not looked good, we go into this with our usual weak defence and so far our window has been slow.
I feel at Goodison as well, we are about to see a one off Ledson masterclass lol. Playing at Goodison, against his old club. I liked Ledson, but he was limited at champ level but today , i have a feeling he will have a stormer.

It’s the old club for a couple of ours so hopefully Gibson and small will be inspired. Callum Lang is an Evertonian as well.

I was a fan of Ledson for sure. Always gave 100% and wore the shirt with pride. Im affraid , i think league 1 is his level though. The champ in his time here got tougher and tougher .

Preseason games normally temper my expectations. However it’s a NE game in the sunshine at an iconic stadium so might as well enjoy it.

It’s a step up from a preseason in that it’s a competitive tournament. Not as important as accumulating points though which is paramount.

Hopefully with it being a competitive game we see a step change in terms of performance. Hopefully Hecky was right in saying today will help his team with it being a proper game. Fingers crossed 🤞🏻
 
Not too fussed about the result today either way

Just an improvement on performance from what we have seen so far and most importantly no injuries
