Out of interest, this particular womens team really does find its roots back in the old Dick Kerrs ladies days.

I'd like to see Beth back there one day Phil. She's currently captaining Huddersfield Town Ladies and was interviewed the other day by the HTFC media team - question posed, would you prefer HT Ladies to be promoted or Preston to get promoted to the Prem...without hesitation it was Preston to the prem...we brought her up well.


They have a really good way of raising money for the Ladies team - they get 100 tickets given to them free that they are allowed to sell at £10 each..they sold 80 for Huddersfield opening game so £800 and are confident they will be able to sell 100 going forwards- might be worth asking North End if they would consider something similar?

I believe Olivia has moved their recently, although shes a rovers fan
 
It is a good idea for sponsorship. I’ve always thought why can’t we sponsor one of the 1st team lads?

We have considered this in the past but it is very expensive. We also decided that our fundraising would be better served on other activities.
