Ive got a bit of an odd one lilywhites. Im abroad at the moment and have stumbled on a professional Brazilian footballer.

I don’t want to say too much as there may be prying eyes 👀 but hes got that Brazilian magic in his boots…overhead kicks, quality finishes and hes keen as mustard to play in England… and once I learnt him a thing or two…at the home of football - Preston North End.

Hes a proper good lad, always a smile on the face, teetotal (so no getting his end away in Barluga) and hes never out the gym…a consumate professional.

Is there anyone here closely connected to the club where we can sort him a trial out? To anyone in the know, ive got plenty of highlight videos from his clubs over the years.

Cheers folks and UTW.

What level in Brazil is he playing at? Arguably anything below Serie C and its not going to workout as he either won't be fast enough, physically strong enough or mentally strong enough to cope with Championship football - unless he's under 21 and could play in the development squad - visa issues depending.

Not the right time of year for a trial but if this is anywhere near serious then it could happen for the start of July if Ridsdale's still in power as he has notifications for this site ping up on his phone to learn about the takeover. Some info would have to be shared at some point though - even if it's just age and current club.

No it’s legit mate. He played in Seria B out in Brazil. He turns 27 soon, but like I said he lives it and does it right. Where hell be coming from PNE should get him for cheap on the wages and potentially no transfer fee needed as he looks to be out of contract with his current club soon. Ive just messaged him to clarify this.

What’s his name?

ESC players are still expected to meet some minimum requirements laid out by The FA:

- Played in at least one competitive youth or senior international for a nation ranked in the FIFA Top 50 (aggregrated over 12 months for a Youth Player)
- Played in at least five competitive youth or senior international for a nation ranked outside of the FIFA Top 50 (aggregrated over 12 months for a Youth Player)
- Played in at least one Continental Youth or Senior Competition match
- Played in at least five Domestic Youth or Senior Competition matches

What is the criteria?

Additionally, the domestic competition criteria needs to be in a band 1-5 league.

From a brief search, Brazil's Serie B would be band 6, so wouldn't meet the threshold
