Preston war home programmes

[spavin4england]

Hi all I am seeking help from the North End community. I have been doing a project to help future programme collectors. I am pretty much finished the post war years but I would like to do something on the prewar programmes. So if anyone on here has any or knows someone who has got any and would be able to provide scans of the cover of home programmes before 1946 this also includes any home covers during the war.

Sorry I should have put in any homes before 1946 not just the war years

Ian Rigby could very well be the man you need. Club historian with a massive collection of memorabilia and programmes

Apparently, my dad had loads of them in a box that got lost between moves from Penwortham to Garstang around 1970.
I know that doesn't help but thought I'd mention it.🙂

No problem. He did an excellent delivery of Tom Finney’s career last week which included a number of the kind of items your looking for.

I was lucky enough to be there when Ian did presentation last week and I feel so privilege he gave me his script for the presentation.
