Protest?

Protest?

Agree with this but if we could find a way of putting the IOM in the spotlight, it might have some effect.
I asked this question on AI “is there a mass messaging app where supporters of a football club can download an app, enter a seat number then diplay a large co-ordinated message using phone lights?”. Apparently there is. If we could display a stand wide message saying “Revitt out” or similar on a nighttime tv game, perhaps that would attract some media attention?
There won’t be enough people grouped together in the stands to do something like that. Tuesday night is going to be sparse I suspect.

I’ve said before that there are an awful lot of people who go to games, support the team and then go home until the next match. There’s nothing at all wrong with that but they’re not going to sit there flashing torches, shouting at Ridsdale, turning their backs or whatever.

Worth pointing out that PNE season tickets remain good value for money compared to the rest of the division, if you're just going to see a game, meet up with friends etc.

I'll still be going to home games whatever the results. Paying to go to Away matches are another matter.... (after Birmingham, Wrexham, QPR and now stoke I feel like a proper mug).

....Lowest Prices in the Division: PNE’s entry price of £294 ranks among the cheapest in the Championship, alongside clubs like Lincoln City (£273) and QPR (£275–£299).

Good value for money surely is dependent upon the product or service you are getting ?

I completely get it. All I'm saying is I can't really justify shelling out to see pne away anymore, and that will likely be my 'protest'. You get treated second class at most of the stadiums anyway but still have to pay full price. Having to suffer pne getting shellacked at these games is the final indignity. I enjoy meeting up with like-minded people at deepdale, so I suppose that's what I'm really paying for, and for me that's where I get value for money.

If fans who take their kids to games, meet family there and enjoy the social side of it (which I completely understand) are reluctant to protest by staying away from Deepdale, surely there’s a sensible middle ground?

Imagine Preston fans turning out in numbers to sell out a game at Brig, or another local non-league side, at the Sir Tom Finney Stadium rather than handing over their money at Sleepdale.

The kids still get their football fix, everyone gets their Saturday afternoon out, a local club benefits, and the message still gets sent.

Surely that’s a win-win? We can still have our football fix without having to fund the circus at Deepdale!

I really like this suggestion. I think it definitely has legs. Suggest a game and a day when PNE are playing and I'd be there like a shot.

I agree to a degree but I don't feel anything for Bamber Bridge or Chorley so it would be a waste of an afternoon for me....

Preston is in my blood, no matter how shit we are....

Personally think instead of booing everyone just stays quiet, a silent protest, no clapping them. Shouldn’t be too hard for us.
That's a bit of a low bar and pretty depressing
How about we contact media outlets to get some answers, PR likes Talksport.
Radio Lancashire should be knocking the doors down to get an interview with the chairman.
I hope fans will support the manager and players and vent there feelings, we need to be getting Sky coverage, they will have to respond.
They are as bad as Chansiri and I sadly predicted we would do a Sheffield Wednesday, I didn't anticipate it would be so easy.
