I've been doing lots of reading over the past few years, about mental health, trauma and related issues.
It seems more and more of us struggle dealing with life and our own minds.
It's hard to find the exact help we need, gps will throw medication our way, that bit is easily accessible and dont get me wrong, medication can be an important contributor to recovery.
What is much harder to access is the right kind of therapy. This is leading to a lot of people seeking out self help books, paid casts etc.
The quality and suitability of some materials can often be very helpful but frequently the self help 'industry' can lead us in directions which are counter productive.
There are several sources I continually return to, reliable and cross referenced with current learning and research in various therapies.
In light of this I've started this thread to post links to films interviews and reading which I have found helpful.
Hope other people do as well.
