I've heard, they're all on redundancy notice and the management seem to have been allowed access to my old office to rip up the redundancy agreement.

Don't know who's supposed to be running the union now, but "custom and practice" is as much the law as a written agreement, probably some fucker in the managements pocket.

It beggars belief, but I'm hardly surprised. It makes me angry, but if they won't fight for their rights, it's not my problem now.

Bag of shit I agree...a few got out and got on at our place but as you say if the union...or/and the members are weak what can you do.
I had 18 weeks on strike in 89/90 but half the scabs from then are now fucking managers 😡

I had just over 100 members, nearly all got on at BAE who wanted to.

We only had three scabs.

It's hard to believe that these people are entitled to the same redundancy terms as those that went before them, but appear to be meekly accepting a fucking good shafting. Three grand government minimum is a bit less than the £27,000 in the agreement. Some fucker deserves a lynching! 😡

The company selected the eight biggest "company men" to stay on from the shop floor, it's hard to have sympathy for them like.
