Anyone else having problems with the quote function? It just seems to have suddenly become very glitchy. Takes a lot of tapping on the screen before I can start typing my reply in the right place. Also not letting me highlight stuff in bold or italics anymore.

Just using it on the laptop right now, and it worked perfectly. There are times when it misbehaves (much more often on my phone), but not noticed a particular prob at the moment. Still using the same browser system?

Yeah, same browser. I only really go on PNE Online on my phone so could be that. It’s more the bold thing than anything else tbh, that option seems to have vanished.
 
Think the quote issue just tends to be lag in peoples browsers. Normally happens when the page hasn’t fully loaded so people can start typing them when the page fully loads it moves the icon below the quoted text when the first part has been typed before the quote

For the missing bold/italics are you on iPhone or android? iPhone you can either highlight text by long pressing and it gives you a bold/italic option

Or if the buttons have become greyed out can you check the settings from the post I’ve linked

If it’s neither of those then give us some screenshots or details on browser/phone and we can flag it and see if it’s a xenforo issue
 
The quote function seems to be doing a wobbly today. Also, I can’t insert posters names with the @ symbol.

I had a wobbly with this the other day, until I realised I'd hit that 'Toggle BB Code' button over near the right side. It seems to turn all the other buttons off, and I couldn't do anything for a while.
