As we know Milly returns to the squad after the Portsmouth match. Personally I’d have been quite happy if we’d got rid before the window closed and I now hope he departs during the summer.
I’ve never booed at any match in all the years I’ve supported this club so that won’t change when he inevitably steps back on the pitch - but surely that new Milly ‘ Titan’ flag won’t reappear and those songs won’t be sung - but I’d be interested what others views are.

If it was Cantona would you allow him back? After the Kung Fu fan kick he returned, they sang his name and he went on to win two more titles with Utd.

You don’t boo your own players. Treat Milly like any other player he has to earn back our respect by keeping calm and scoring goals.
Absolutely this.
We don't boo our own players but maybe he shouldn't be treated as quite the 'King' he was to some, before.
As you say, Joan he needs to earn back our respect and he can only do that by a significant number of .consistent controlled performances, where he channels his aggression in the right way.
Hopefully there are no silly over the top songs for him - otherwise he will never learn the lessons - but equally no negativity or hostility to him.
Quiet, polite support (is in order But then we do sit on half way line of the Finney 😀).

You said it better than me. Oh and I will be sat there tomorrow for a change. I’m sitting with my son in law fortunately we get on very well.

I’ll be focusing on my sweepstake - What 5 minute block of the match will he get a card. £5 per entry, let me know which block you want 😁

Seriously though, I won’t be booing or owt, but frankly I am not all that thrilled about seeing him back.

If he wants my support he needs to behave like he has more than 7 brain cells and score some goals.

Not sure he will. What's he on now his fourth chance?
Hopefully the Club have had a serious word, that he is 'literally' on his final chance.
And by serious word, i mean to look him in the eye and see if it's just glazed over, or if he has really, properly understood and taken it on board.
IF he still has a career with us and at Championship level (which i reckon even by PNE standards will pay him a lot more than moving back overseas) then he needs to knuckle down, score some goals and contribute in a positive way and us not always half wondering if he's going to let himself & the Team, down.
He's got half a Season to contribute and get his head sensibly engaged or it really will be San Fairy Ann!

I, for one, am a bit confused.

Seems like the biting and racist comment stuff is fine but rubbing his head, fairly gently, against someone is a big no-no?

No reaction for me.

I'll obviously celebrate if he scores, but that's cause we've scored a goal.

A lot of work for him to gain full support back, but I can see him being sold in the summer anyway. Will have 12 months left on his deal, and the amount of games he's missed due to suspension does not warrant giving him a new deal.
