Well if they don't they'll lose a lot more when the potential new owners renegotiate the deal or, more likely pull out of the deal.
Agree, but they will argue that there is no guarantee that Heckingbottom going saves us.

Remember these cunts decided to "take the hard decision" to not sack Lowe.

The easy decision = sack him:
Sack him and whoever else wants to go with him
Pay them up
Arrange for someone to take charge of the team in the meantime
Go through recruitment process
Interview people
Hire someone new and their new backroom team

The hard decision = do nothing.

There's been six games this season. That's not a crisis situation.

Why would Heckingbottom, or a temporary situation to save us from relegation when we're six games into the season ever be our only option? Some people acting like we've got 10 games left of the season with some managerial shouts and their reason for it.

I'm not interested in the conversation about win percentage or Heckingbottom on this thread, as every thread is turning into. I was specifically talking about who people want as the next manager and their reasoning.
Still no crisis ? , if the take over is having an influence on a long term replacement, then the current board have to put an interim in without fail prior to QPR , if this Manager stays in charge , how long shall / can we give before we deem it a crisis ? ( as last seasons 4 wins in 19 don’t count 😬 )

I'd seriously consider Steven Gerrard.

He did a good job at Rangers in his first job. Villa didn't work out but he will have learned a lot from that. He played under some brilliant managers & his contacts would be beneficial.

I couldn't give a shit about us being referred to as 'Steven Gerrard's Preston North End' by Sky etc if he does a good job. Profile wise along with the takeover it raises us massively.
This would be my second choice behind Neil

Get home potted today!! Give us a time to get someone new in and they will have the international break to at least try and organise this shower of shite !!?

Time to go Paul!

Alex Neil returns. Up turn in results (not difficult), but football remains fairly dry, narrow wins dragging us through. We miss out on where we want to get to, within 2 years we are back in this position as results catch up to us.

We need a new fucking idea. Not another pragmatic approach first manager, who will also eventually (maybe not to the same level) coach the flare out of any players we have or will spend money on.

The guy wouldn't play Anthony Gordon because he wanted to run at players and would sometimes lose the ball in doing so.
