It is clearly a spam bot, it may be an intelligent one, but it has simply lifted words from earlier posts.

I am just impressed with what it came up with for this one 😉

Indeed, they used to just say things like

"I agree, there are some excellent points on this thread"

or something like that, took Shaky in, maybe he can join his own ETC 😉

Notice that there are links in the signature, they are designed to make you click on those.

I presume a human needs to open the account for the spam bot??

Presumably we should be hitting the 'report' button to get the mods to delete the account?

Yes, Shaky, I am actually a robot. A computer generates my posts as a random combination of words from previous posts on the thread.

Sorry you are currently obsessed with everyone being an alter ego of someone who was banned, but in this case it is simply someone trying to direct people to a website.

I have got a link in my signature, but it is clearly explained what it is and why. This is also not true for the spambot.

Finally, addressing Regardless, no, there are hacks round the human verification software of VBulletin and that is always something that the admin have to keep on top of with updates etc.
 
There are loads of alter egos knocking about Shinny in case you hadn't noticed, nearly all of them people who have been banned or people who have made cunts of themselves previously and are trying to wipe the slate clean, without success.

Are Microsoft so short of business they have to resort to this pathetic tactic, or is it a smoke screen for yet another bell end?

This "Spambot" also seems so smart it uses Preston terminology you penis. It is also illiterate.

I believe CAMRPNE got banned for starting a new forum and then Bayside = Wenger and Mornington Marauder followed soon after. However, neither was an alter ego invented to do anything other than serve an in joke. Certainly there is no attempt to get around bans using alter egos.

I think the link has gone now.

Don't understand how. If the mods removed them, then surely they'd have removed the post.

Only explanation I can think of is that the poster is a real person, and removed the signature himself.

And wouldn't a bot have made more than 4 posts.

I am surprised the mods would have deleted just the signature, but then I suppose they have a sense of humour 😉
