Confirmed Robbie Brady signs New 2 Year Contract.

I do not believe Robbie Brady should still be at the club.

I said at the time he should have left in the summer, and I stand by that. And I do not believe the sum total of his performances since then have vindicated his contract extension.

But credit where it’s due, he worked his socks off today.

And his goal was an absolute peach. A perfect strike to put down the throats of plastics, at their end, who’d been giving him the ex-Burnley dogs abuse throughout.
 
When we're at full strength, Robbie Brady surely only makes the bench at best. He certainly shouldn't be ahead of Millar on the left. That said, he played well today in spells, and was solid enough. His corners and free kicks were poor mind. Hell of a strike for the goal that made me bite my tongue. No pickles for me for a bit.

Brady has put two shifts in but is not attacking enough for this formation as it relies a lot on the creativity from out wide.

If we’re insistent on playing Brady I’d just put him on the right and just have one side weaker than two.

I agree, although I'd have either McCann or Brown on the right as they can at least defend. Brady isn't great defensively and being predominantly left-footed means he's even less capable of defending on the right.

He did, to be fair, score a great goal at a crucial time and to be honest, I think that ensured he stayed on for the second half.
 
It's ridiculous the stick he has got this season, and continues to get. Any little thing he does wrong, he gets dogs abuse. More so than any other player.

He was good last season. Yeah, we shouldn't have given him a two year deal due to his age. And he hasn't had the best of seasons. But he's a quality footballer who should be backed rather than jeered on and off the pitch like some pathetic low-life gimps have taken to doing over the last couple of months.

Let's not forget, there was even a poster who said he would turn around and not go on the game if he saw Brady was starting! Fuck me, are we the Lashers or something?
 
Let’s lick a players hairy arse as he’s done a few good things after wasting the entire season on good wages, getting booked, playing shite, not contributing, being sent off etc.

Yes slowly redeeming himself but some distance to go. Good luck to him and long May it continue. We need more of this.

oh dear yet another nomark having a go at our own fans, people have opinions get over it you prick and for what its worth I think Brady has been utter garbage since he arrived, yesterday his goal apart he was utter shite, couldn't cross, couldn't beat the first defender with his corners, couldn't get back to help the defense and cannot tackle.

I know everyone has opinions. Sometimes they can be vacuous and simple-minded, quite like yours. Given your reaction, I think it’s you that can’t over the fact some people have opinions.

For you to take such offence, I can only assume you are one of the angry hollow-heads that jeered him off. So yeah, perhaps I am that no-mark having a go at a very small, half-witted section of our fan base. Cry more.
