Confirmed Ryan Ledson - Leaving

I like this Paul Gallagher one to start off one of the best PNE counters I've seen. I think it's Gally anyway.

It was Sean maguire of all people.

Don’t think gally played in that game.

That Ledson tackle away t'Plastics was as important and well remembered as that by Welsh at Wembley in the build up to the 2nd goal.

Best two tackles - Ali McCann takes the 3rd, at home, to Bristol City on the edge of our box (BSK) which set up and started the move for Riis to volley in an equaliser in the 95th.

(1) Welsh.
(2) Ledson.
(3) McCann.
Surely you’re joking aren’t you.😳

On any other night Ledson gets a red and that sums him up for me, a liability.

It was a horrible tackle and had it been done to one of ours we’d have gone mad.

He did the same at Leeds and he badly injured a Huddersfield player, Elphick?, in a game at Deepdale.

The Welsh challenge was brave, he got smashed in winning the ball clearly and it led almost directly to us going 2-0 up in a play off final.

The 2 challenges couldn’t be more night and day if you tried.

I really don’t get this Ledson love in.🤷🏻‍♂️

Ledson got, apparently 1 Red Card in his time here.

Ledson's tackle set the tone for that 1-4 victory and if you can't see that, then you're - and I respect you cha - a doofus,

Think the tackle is a bit over rated.

However it is 100% never a red card challenge. You must be thinking of a different game.

All the best to Ryan and pleased he has had a decent choice of clubs.

I reckon he will be just fine in League One.

Ledson may of frustrated at times and maybe he wasn't quite the level we needed but he never shirked, he always left it out on the pitch, which cant be said about many of the shirkers in the last few months of the season.

It was the right time to let him leave but I wish him all the best.
all of this, 100%

I can remember two - although the Leeds one was the league cup, he also got one at Wigan.
I'm just going off a Huddersfield fan on their thread.

I haven't and can't be bothered checking myself. 😂

The game I was on about was the 2-1 victory at Ewood in 2021 where he went through Dolan, not the 4-1 win a couple of years back.

I would imagine staying in the NW was a significant factor, and who knows how much he got for a signing on fee and I would imagine decent wages too, your anti Ledson agenda is so boring much like most of the shite you post here.

Ah yeah League One clubs famous for their ability to outbid championship sides on wages.

I think the Wigan one was quite contentious? The Leeds one was attempted GBH
Did he not kick the guy in the head?

Edit: just found this on Sky Sports: The Latics were already 1-0 up when Ledson lost his head - and almost removed that of Kal Naismith with a dangerously high foot on 34 minutes

A bit of an exaggeration, but I wouldn't call it contentious.
