Burnley must be laughing right at you.

Quite possibly. What is your point?

We might not be selling out but we're still getting 6k more fans then you, quite laughable that you'd compare actually.

You are the one making comparisons, fucktard. But if all you are getting is 6k more for being an "established" prem side, that's piss poor.

Someone above has posted your average crowd attendances whilst being in our division and they are shite. Only to jump up due to a spell in the premiership.

Be interesting to see what ours jumped to if we ever got there. Always easy to gloat aint it...

Pathetic. I'd love to see how many you'd bring to Fratton.

I repeat, ever taken 4000 (make that 8000) to a local-ish derby game whilst being in the second division?????

Me and the fella got ours say they went on sale, but now the dumbass is on crutches, it could make for an interesting trip! 🙄

mention this to Ben Rhodes. It's been brought to his attention before

Email sent on 10.11.09:

Hi Ben,

I have a complaint to make with regards to a recent occurrence in the Ticket Office…

My mother-in-law went in to purchase tickets for the Blackpool away game for a number of people (including my 4-year old son), and had all of the relevant ticket stubs from their season tickets.

The Ticket Office informed her that she couldn’t get a ticket for my 4-year old son because “he didn’t count for this game”…

My 4-year old son has had a season ticket for 2 years and has already attended 4 away games this season (Doncaster, Barnsley, Leicester and QPR) and has paid to come onto the two league cup games at home. We also paid out nearly £300 for him to be a mascot at the Peterborough game earlier in the season. His Xmas list consists of many items from the club shop too.

This is a fan of the future who is already putting money into the club and he is being told that he cannot have a ticket for the Blackpool game because he doesn’t count as a paying fan. Whether his season ticket is free or not should not be relevant… if the club issue free season tickets to kids of a certain age then they should still be treated as customer with the same rights as someone who pays full price for a season ticket.

We managed to get him a ticket by using my season ticket voucher (I have been a season ticket holder for 20 years) as I am not attending the Blackpool away match, but it shouldn’t have come to this. If I had been attending then we would have had to wait until the tickets went on general sale to purchase his ticket, risking the chance of actually getting one. Had the game not been on SKY and had there not been a bit of a recession on, I’m sure the allocation for away fans would have sold out quite quickly and he might have missed getting a ticket.

My complaint is that it seems he's being punished for being 4 years old, which i am sure is against the Age Discrimination Act... perhaps the club should look into this before somebody decides to sue them for it.

And the club wonders why kids follow Manchester United or Liverpool instead of coming to watch North End, what is the point if the club are going to behave like this?

Please let me have your thoughts on this matter

Many thanks

Many thanks for the email; sorry it has taken a little while to get back to you, but I have been on annual leave due to the international break.

We announced on release of the ticket details for the Blackpool fixture (http://www.pnefc.net/page/TicketNewsDetail/0,,10362~1838817,00.html - see the red highlighted bit at the bottom), that Mini Whites tickets would not give priority booking.

This is something we have done regularly on big fixtures as these are free of charge tickets; this is not a new initiative and is something that has always been the case since the inception of the Mini Whites many years ago; rightly or wrongly.

As this is not a guaranteed right, the Club is doing nothing wrong in this matter and breaches no rules here, however, your situation is one that has raised this issue for the first time, to my knowledge, and will allow us to have a look again at it, to make sure we are looking after a valued section of our supporter base.

As you quite rightly say, young supporters are an important part of our community and marketing plans at the Club and the Club has led the way in many of its ventures and initiatives in encouraging these children to support us and by highlighting this particular scenario you can be assured we will look at it to make sure that children like your son do not miss out on occasions like this one.

I am glad you were able to get a ticket for your son, unfortunately there are still 600 or so tickets remaining now, which hopefully will be sold before the game.

Thanks again for the email and hopefully you will be assured from my answer that the issue you have raised will be looked at.

Regards,

Ben Rhodes

600 tickets left 😱 😱 😱

Well, what a surprise.😱

Hey, no problemo. There's the Geordie game coming up first, before you lot.
Some people are on 'Pay-as-you-go' if you know what I mean.

Also, as part of it being on SKY , I think that the game's being shown at Deepdale
for the people who prefer not to taint themselves with anything too tangerine.

Are we celebrating the grand opening of your new stand or has that been delayed?

Certainly not. We'd hardly invite you filthy scummers to such an illustrious occasion. :youl:

It'll probably open mid December when we play WBA. At least they'll be able to sell their ticket allocation.🙄
